What a great place to stay. Sites are roomy and it didn’t cost a thing. That will change. The ranger came to close the camp for the season. He said next year they will start charging....and they are renovating the sites to make them more modern. Whatever that means.

The place is nice and well organized. The dog run is awesome. However, a 50 foot back in site required wheel chocks to level my 33 foot rig as the front tires came off the ground a foot when leveling. For this much a night a site should be level.

This place is nice. There are plenty of trees, but for sure not in a forest. The site was too narrow the put the awning out but that didn’t matter.
WiFi was worthless they really shouldn’t advertise it. 😅
There are new washers and dryers. So that’s upgraded. 😊
It is a mile a way from a state prison, in case that freaks you out.

Nice place. Well organized. Multiple pools. The dog run is grass and large enough for the dogs to run. Easy accsss to the 101 but not noisy.

Great county park with a good dog run. If you don’t need sewage hookups the non fulll sites are bigger. Each is uneven so takes a minute to get level. When I got here they didn’t have my reservation, then later found it for the wrong month. They were able to accommodate me and when I couldn’t get level in a spot easily moved me to the one of my choice.

When other reviewers said tight space this is no joke. My first space (V18) was only 9 feet wide and 34 feet long. I have slides and am 33feet. Fortunately I was there for one night and they moved me to another tight spot. Couldn’t get level without needing the manual levels. That’s annoying. The views are awesome. Only reason to stay....

As others have said, this is a great place, close to the ocean. Sites are level and decent sized. Some are open to the sunlight and others under the trees, so take your pick. Generator times are weird, 10-8. Only had cell service with the booster.
