This is definitely the best choice of the private RV parks in the area. It's a little too far to walk to Tombstone, but we had no trouble parking in town. Just be patient & drive a round a bit. Be sure to heed the private, no parking signs at residences. The folks running the park are very nice & accommodating & laundry facility was nice & clean. The wifi was shockingly good. There obviously were some long term residents, but their sites were decorated very nicely & not junky. We did not use the pool as it was quite chilly there in mid-February (our water line froze at night). Be sure to call ahead when making a reservation. This place was full all 4 nights we were there. I also highly recommend taking Dr Jay's walking tour of historic Tombstone. He & his wife were knowledgeable and totally delightful! It was $20/person for 90 minutes of pure entertainment.. The rate reflects our Good Sam discount with a dog.

This is a gorgeous park with fabulous access to Tucson. The weather was rainy, cold & windy when we were there in mid February 2018, so we did not do any hiking. There is tons of other things to do nearby, so we were busy nonetheless. I was disappointed with our site, A8. The power pole is on the wrong side of the site, so our Travel Trailer main door opened to the road side verses the site side. We could have driven down the wrong way on the campground road to park it so the living side faced our picnic table, but my husband was not willing to do so. Another problem with A8 is it shares the entrance to a main trail, so we had hikers, dog walkers & horses trodding through our site constantly. We moved to another site in B loop & were much happier.
