The folks that run the place are very friendly and made us feel right at home. They take exceptional care of their property which of course has the quintessential western feel to it. Some spaces have small shade trees but as you can expect for the high desert, it's pretty wide open. The ground is very level and graveled. We didn't have a chance to swim but they have a nice looking pool. They serve coffee in the morning and are more than happy to point you towards the best things to check out in Tombstone

We loved our stay here. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They greeted us at the entrance, checked us in and then guided us back to our spot and help get our rig situated in the site. The pool was heated to 85 degrees so we were able to swim even though it was Feb and the daytime highs were in the low 70s. They have cabins, a small motel and lots of things to do onsite. In addition to visiting Tombstone for all the attractions, we played ping pong in the rec room and tossed some horseshoes in the outdoor play area that also has swings, tetherball, etc. for the kids. Cell service was good on Verizon and marginal on AT&T. The Wifi is pretty good as they have several repeaters spread through the park. There are corrals for horses and cattle in the rear and the park grounds are really clean. Not much more than restaurants and entertainment businesses in Tombstone. (There is a Family Dollar). However Sierra Vista is only 16 miles away and they have everything you could want for groceries, shopping and dining. There is a hiking trail off the back of the park that leads to some petroglyphs.
Our Good Sam discount came in the form of 7th night free and is reflected in the $33 per day price listed above.

Let's start with the positives. Tombstone was a complete blast. The history, the town, it really is amazing and something to see. This park was by far the best choice in town. Whatever you do, don't stay at the Wells Fargo RV park down the road.
The bathroom and showers were clean, the sites were decently spaced out for a private park. They have propane onsite, and a very small dog park.
The location is top notch. Only a couple of miles from Tombstone.
There's good hiking behind the park. Check out the trails on google map earth view and find your way around. Nothing is marked but the trails are good hard packed dirt for the dogs with no stickers for their paws.
Now the negatives. The connectivity here sucks. The wifi wasn't good. It was barely usable. On the lower end compared to most campgrounds.
There's no cable anymore even though they haven't lowered their prices. Voice on Verizon is ok but data about 1mbps d/l, ATT showed 1 bar but continuously dropped calls. Streaming only worked on T mobile due to poor speeds on Verizon but it was good on T mobile.
There's a lot of long term residents here which normally drags down campgrounds, which was the case.
All in all, the best choice for Tombstone. I would stay here again if I was coming back.

This RV site was a great place to camp. The sites are large, much larger than some other RV parks. We have our Rockwood Roo with us and had plenty of space. The only thing that's annoying is that they charge you for each extra person and dog you have with us. We only had one other person and our dog, but that's why they charged us $42 a night. Otherwise, I think it would have been $36 a night for 2 people. It was an additional $5 a person and $1 per dog per night.
But, it's a large campground, yes, there were long term people here who were super friendly. Everyone working and staying here was friendly. Sometimes, that can just make your vacation! It's a short walk to town, only 1.5 miles, so if you can walk, that's great. Otherwise, they provide a shuttle for you. The campground itself is also very clean and well kept.
Showers and bathrooms were clean, spacious. They have a rec room with a ping pong table you can play, and a kitchen, so if you wanted to have a party, you could use that space. I'm not sure if that cost more or not. They have several washer/dryers as well. The pool is heated during the winter months, and it was 85 when we were there, even though it got down to 40 degrees at night.
You can rent a fire pit and they have wood to buy. The wifi does go in and out, but it works.
Our arrival was smooth. They even called us about 5:30 to ensure we were coming as their office would be closing. We were just 5 minutes outside of the campground, they checked us in and guided us in our pull through spot.
I didn't think there was ever any excess noise. The sites were clean, close to town, very large and comfortable.
All in all, it's probably the best RV in Tombstone, and we loved our stay!

This is definitely the best choice of the private RV parks in the area. It's a little too far to walk to Tombstone, but we had no trouble parking in town. Just be patient & drive a round a bit. Be sure to heed the private, no parking signs at residences. The folks running the park are very nice & accommodating & laundry facility was nice & clean. The wifi was shockingly good. There obviously were some long term residents, but their sites were decorated very nicely & not junky. We did not use the pool as it was quite chilly there in mid-February (our water line froze at night). Be sure to call ahead when making a reservation. This place was full all 4 nights we were there. I also highly recommend taking Dr Jay's walking tour of historic Tombstone. He & his wife were knowledgeable and totally delightful! It was $20/person for 90 minutes of pure entertainment.. The rate reflects our Good Sam discount with a dog.

Booked the location for Memorial Day weekend for a family vacation. Located only a couple miles away from Tombstone itself, but well worth the short drive after seeing the RV camps in town that are jam packed and no amenities; not to include a higher cost.
This campground has great hosts, outstanding amenities and is the cleanest and most upkept campground I have ever stayed in. The prices are for full hookup sites and included an extra adult (nephew). The showers were impeccable and cleaned on a daily basis. Water pressure is a bit low, but did the job. The pool is nice and a welcome amenity after a hot day of sightseeing in the area.
Located approximately 20 miles from Sierra Vista (WalMart/Lowe’s, etc), approximately 30 miles from Benson and 22 miles from Bisbee, and 45 miles from Parker Lake and Patagonia.
The WiFi works well, but is not for streaming and can be slow when the campground is full. We have AT&T for cell service and it was sketchy at times, and great at others.

Have stayed here twice in the cabins. Was very pleased with the accommodations. Nice and clean with friendly staff. Would recommend this RV park over any other in the area. Looking forward to my next stay. Maybe will try the cowboy hotel next time.

We spent two nights here. Easy in and out, nice level sites and pea gravel throughout whole park. Their wifi is average. Our Verizon mifi and cell service was poor. Very nice rec room, clean bathrooms. Pool area looks nice but we didn't use it (since it snowed during our stay!). The 50a had blown out on a few sites the day before we got there. They didn't know ours was out too. As promised they had it repaired quickly. Friendly reservation and check-in. Fairly wide site. Shuttle to Tombstone is a nice touch, though we didn't use it.

We arrived after dark and were met at the office to be shown to our spot, very nice. If we were staying longer we would have taken advantage of the heated pool and nice park. Level spot.
Nice location to head on in to Tombstone and enjoy the great town. Wifi was iffy. Park manager was very nice. Would stay again.
