Our arrival was easy as its off of Hwy 50 and easily found. We came after hours and it was easy to find our assigned spot. We knew this was going to be a one night stay on our way from South Lake Tahoe to Point Reyes.

Pros
Easy to find
Electricity and Water Hook Up
Nice view from our spot
Lucked out and didn't have neighbors on either side of us
Dog run area was decent
I didn't have young kids with me, but if I did they had a nice pool, goats, mini golf and a playground

Cons
Sites are close together in general
Pokey dry plans that stick to the pups fur at the campsite, but the dog run had good grass for them and not pokey plants
Freeway noise - but we knew that coming into this and it's clearly communicated on their website

Second time visiting this campground meeting up with family. If you are a group, I would say this is a nice place to all camp by each other or if you have a mix of Campers and Tents, because they have nice tent camping areas too. If you are looking for space between camping sites, probably not your jam, as sites are close to each other. Was a good home base to pop off into town and a visit to Limantour Beach.

Pros
After hours check In was easy
Dog friendly with dog run
Limantour Beach not too far and has section for dogs - Extra Special this time because we saw whales off the beach that were very close.
Point Reyes Station is very close, has store, cafes, etc
Group camping is fun here. Although sites are close to each other, ours backed up to a spacious area
Even with lots of people, very quiet in the evening and morning hours
Clean bathrooms and showers

Cons
Sites are close to each other
Very limited supplies at the camp store

We love going to Nevada Beach for staycations. We reserved two nights at site 14 and moved to site 28 for the last night due to availability (it's a popular camping spot). Check-in was friendly, site 14 had a beautiful view of the lake in the distance, and lots of space and site 28 gave us a more of a private feel. The top things I love about this campground has a portion of the beach that is great for enjoying the lake with our dogs, just about every site is spacious, and if you want to step out of the beauty to grocery shop or go out to eat, options are about 5 minutes away.

It's spring time in Northern Nevada after an extraordinary winter in the Sierra Nevadas. We live in the mountains so we did a quick trip and chose to stay at Washoe Lake State Park to get out of the snow and warm up. It's a first come, first serve park, we arrived about 2:30 ish on a Friday and it was probably 2/3 full when we arrived. You have a choice of electric/water hookups or just self contained. We wanted to test our self contained set up so purposefully chose one of those spots.

Pros:
Spacious Campsites
View of them mountains is awesome
Walks to the lake and sand dunes from our campsite
Hike up the hillside 2 minutes or so down the road to Deadmans Creek Trailhead
Lots of wild horses, birds and jack rabbits - wild horses were a favorite part of this visit
Lots of sun for our solar panel
Friendly staff
Close to south Carson City if you want to pop out and grab dinner
Easy on the wallet, we paid a total of $30 for 2 nights.

Amenities:
ADA spots looked nice and they had a few of them for those looking for that
Bathrooms with showers, didn't use them much but they were there
Horseshoe Pit
Has a dump station but it was closed when we were there. We went to Mavericks in Carson City where they had a dump station for free, we also gassed up as they have nice RV/Trailer Gas Pump area so easy to pull up,

Cons:
The bathroom in loop B was a little funky, whole in the wall for trash looks through the middle so doesn't seem quite private. Bathroom in loop A was better. The bathroom in Loop A also has the showers.

We lucked out and booked site 126 on the bluff overlooking the ocean. We wanted to visit our daughter who lives in Goleta and use it as our home base for our SB/Goleta visit. We would go back again and definitely enjoyed our time.

Pros:
View was beautiful
The location to Goleta and Santa Barabara was convenient
Stars were beautiful at night
The sound of the ocean waves
Coastal trail, stairs to the beach
Dogs are allowed (just not on the beaches) - there are dog-friendly beaches in town though and SB is very dog friendly.
When booking our site it said no campfire ring nor picnic table but fires are allowed. When we arrived all of the sites on the bluff had picnic tables and fire rings which was a bonus.

Things to know:
The bathrooms closest to our sites were closed Monday - Friday (they were open Sunday when we arrived). My guess is because it's off season).
You can hear HWY101 traffic as it's close to the highway - not enough to bother us though
Train - you can hear the train throughout the day as it borders this campsite, but we enjoyed the train and it wasn't into the wee hours so it didn't keep us up.
Although ATT showed 3 bars/LTE, it was a bit intermittent at our actual campsite. Just a few steps away it became more consistent.

Cons:
These RV bluff sites are very close to each other, so be open to meeting your neighbors. They were all very nice. There are other campsites that are not as close to each other in the campground but only a few would have a similar view.
The view looking out to the ocean is beautiful, but on the opposite side is a big parking lot. During the time we visited, it was very empty, most likely due to being in October.
Ants - they visited us on our last day, but they were manageable.
No pump out on site, but there was one down the highway at the 76 station for $7.50 and if you wanted to go into Carpinteria SB it was free.

Overall, this was a good home base for us for visiting the area with a beautiful view.

We took our 23ft trailer out for some spring camping. We chose this site because it was open on a first come, first serve basis. We had no problem finding a nice riverside campsite and it was self register. It was not full so super quiet people wise. I would give it a 5 but you do hear the road noise. I would love to go back in the Fall when the Aspens are turning their vibrant colors. Although we were self contained, they did have a clean vault toilet and potable water not to far from the site.
