The campground is large and well situated between the airport and downtown. Any amenity is within a few minutes of driving and the light rail station is right across the street. The pull through sites are quite big and easy to get in and out of. People are friendly and helpful. Verizon signal was strong.

The location is close to the city and the freeway. This made for an easy stop on the way north. The lady at the front desk was friendly and the pull through site was level. Wifi was strong but we didn't use the campground amenities. The entry/exit features a pretty vicious bump which has to be driven over at an angle. They mention this on their website, which was helpful and appreciated.

Great location close to the National Park. Coming from Merced, the GPS routed us through rather small roads, which was challenging. People at the campground were very friendly and helpful. There is no cell service at all but there is free public wifi around the main building. It was quite fast and usable. We also paid for the wifi at the site, which is through a commercial provider. This was also fast enough to do email including down- and uploading attachments with no issue, staying up to date on weather and do trip planning. Campground is in a beautiful valley with a creek running through. We would stay here again but use the main highway 120 through Groveland to get there next time.

The proximity to Joshua Tree NP is great. The campground is clean and nice. We were in one of the pull-through sites which resembles somewhat of a parking lot. However, it's easy to get in and out, it close to the park and Twentynine Palms offers all amenities of a small city. As a base to explore Joshua Tree NP, it's a good, clean and safe spot. We didn't use any facilities, so I can't comment on them but our site was clean upon arrival. We would stay here again.
