Sites are very small, and many of the trees throughout the park need some maintenance. Larger rigs may be challenged navigating the facilities. There are two separate parks adjacent to each other and many full time residents. It's not the nicest neighborhood either - and there's not a lot of food within walking distance unless you want the junk variety. Office is open late which is a plus. Bathrooms are modern and very clean. There is a MH wash next door which is convenient. Not the best KOA - but not the worst either.
Friendly staff and park is maintained. It appears their putting in a fire pit soon which will be a bonus. We took our bulldogs and they enjoyed the doggie park. Overall nice RV stop!
KOA does it again! This campground in the heart of Salt Lake City creates an illusion of isolation be a high, greenery covered wall surrounding the compound. Amenities abound and the only drawback we experienced was that the gas fire pits where we’d planned to roast marshmallows was non-functional. Friendly staff, 24hr security, and multiple fast food joints nearby make this a wonderful place to create a home base from which to explore SLC.
Very friendly staff, well maintained park and very convenient if you are traveling on I-80. However, it isn't in a very nice neighborhood. I was hoping to walk around after we got in but didn't feel it was safe. Also, they do advise you to double lock your bikes when staying there.
Stopped in for 1 night as we were passing through, not a bad RV park. Location is close enough to the city and any shopping needs. Wasn't very busy but that's to be expected in January. The sites were narrow and close together, but that's pretty normal for a KOA. Overall we enjoyed our quick stay and decent price
Very small sites that are right on top of each other. A lot of people couldn’t use their awnings because of how close together everyone is and due to trees. Clean and organized plus has a great location close to Temple Square but SO expensive.
