Spent 1 full day and night.We live in Salem which is about 10 miles from the conservation area.We wanted to test out our new to us solar panel and not go to far from home so found this and tried it out. NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT.
There are 5 different camping areas in the conservation area but we stayed in the first area mainly for cell reception.The further in you go you lose reception but the whole area is quiet and beautiful. No other campers.
No electric or water. Boondocking at its best.Grassy areas for camping and mostly level.Firepits scattered but we didn't have a fire due to the amount of fall leaves and dry grass. Close to town.14 day limit.2 miles to the 1st campsite from highway on a well maintained gravel road. Hunting season starts next week so I would be careful about that.

Called ahead and the owner let me know how to get there and since we would arrive while he was gone explained where to park and how to pay...Arrived at dark and was exactly as he said...after a long day of driving it was a welcome relief to get off the road.. Did not get to see much of the park but felt safe and the area was clean.

Needed a few days of nondriving and this park was great.large open rv area with level gravel sites. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Laundry room also clean and large area for folding clothes.
There is a attached clubhouse but dosent look like its being used...probably covid related. Marcy is the on-site manager and should get the employee of the month.Her people skills are great. Met the workcamper and he was also friendly. We have tmobile had 4g. 2 to 3 bars but very slow internet off the hotspot.we don't use a booster.
This area is desert so not exactly beautiful.

Great park and not far from Wickenburg which is a very beautiful town and area is beautiful in the desert.
This is a country area and lots of rodeo...roping and horses
Will definitely come back for the winter months

Escapees park...friendly people...large fairly level gravel sites with picnic table at each site
Clean restrooms and laundry
Always something going on and is posted on a weekly calendar
The way camping rates have gone up including state parks you get full hookups at a great rate.This is our first year as escapees members and have stayed at 3 so far and will definitely renew membership next year
This is close to Wickenburg AZ which has shoppong+
Wickenburg is a truly unique town..very much horse country..rodeo etc and should be on anyone's bucket list

Tmobile had bars but really poor service

We were on our way to a Scamp rally and spent 1 night but would definitely come back and stay longer.

This state park is a historical site and campground and is well managed and beautiful. Lots of wildlife that are close to the campsites. Restrooms and showers were immaculate.
Sites are large and most are tucked into a wooded setting .lots of big rigs that were there.we are in a 16 foot travel trailer .
Definitely would stay again
Electric and water at site with a dump station in the park.

Great family park..lots of kids..we are retired and were traveling so the park was well kept and provided a lot of amenities for kids and families. You expect lots of noise with kids so that is not a negative and we are happy to see families out and enjoying camping.very busy park and just to get a site was difficult and we ended up getting a non-electric right across from the playground.

Spent 1 night on our way to the scamp rally in Backus Minnesota. 85 degrees at 5pm with a nice breeze. No mosquitos the night we were here.clean restrooms and showers.
T mobile 4 bars with 4G.

Tucked in the woods...Little Piney River access...and Lane Spring...so very relaxing stay.
Vault toilets(clean), electric at several sites.
Water at spigot throughout the park..no dump..
Large spacious lots and paved pads that were fairly level all with fire rings ..picnic table..
Several primitive sites with the same as above.
Easy access in..2 low water crossings in the camping area but unless you are in a large rv and towing a vehicle there shouldn't be a problem
Be prepared for ticks...just check yourself and your pets
The camp host was wonderful..
First come first serve all sites..
