We stayed recently, and this family-run campground was a great find. The owners are very friendly. The campsites have the water on even in winter. Access is easy, and the sites are large, pull-through sites that our 36' + toad easily fit on, without un-hooking. The coach was able to level easily. Stayed a second night when the recent storm with snow and high winds threatened driving on I-40.
The store has minimal supplies, (no dairy products, for instance), but it was a pleasure getting what we could there and talking with the really sweet people that run the place. Not aware of any cable, bathroom or shower facilities, but we weren't looking for those. Would have given it five stars if there were more of these things.
Not a lot to do in the area, it was supposed to be an overnight for us, but we would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.

Typical tight KOA, but the warning text from the campground came while we were almost there, on the road. Needless to say, it was scary with a one-lane bridge, an illegal left-hand turn (no choice), and very low branches everywhere. (The "preferred" method in the text message I copied below also had a lot of very low branches, but otherwise not as cardiac event inducing.)
Lots of noisy kids, but again, it's a KOA.
Campground text:
"DIRECTIONS: PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS OR YOUR GPS! From 81 N or S take Exit 4 to 70 W. From 70 W please take Exit 24 and follow the KOA signs. From 70 E take Exit 24 and keep right onto 63 and take the very first right onto Everly Rd. Follow KOA signs."
First site assigned, we could not level with a forklift. Office staff was courteous in assigning another, however.
Didn't use any amenities.

We had a problem with our rig and lost all hydraulic controls. Bobby was excellent, going back and forth to the office for tools and replacement fluid and even made phone calls on our behalf to investigate on-site repairs. I couldn't ask for more. The roads through the campground are a little tight, and there's little light if you show up after dark. But otherwise, the place is very nice and we would definitely camp here again.

We stopped here for one night, but would happily have stayed longer. The campground is well laid out with pull-through spots - ours was 80 ft long. Well-maintained gravel roads, loops and level lots. Nice green grass. Most sites are full hookup, but they have some without sewer hookup for a couple dollars less - there is a dump station. They also have propane filling station. They also had laundry and showers, but I didn't see that as we had our own. The whole place seemed well-run and well-maintained. We called for a last-minute reservation on Saturday evening and they did the registration remotely over the phone. They do take online reservations. We would stay here again. This would be a good place for group camping. My only criticism is that our particular spot did not have a level place for the picnic table, and the table itself was not in great shape. The parking was level, but some spots had slopes between sites. We didn't need it, but if you were going to stay for a few days and want to have a usable outside space, make sure to ask for a spot with a level campsite next to it. Also, the town of Nebraska City was very close by. A couple of grocery stores, a Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, a large Walmart, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. Looked like there were a couple of nicer restaurants nearby as well.

What a dump. Literally. See pics for some detail.
Everybody posts their beautiful pictures from their stays, but I thought it would be more informative for this one to show you the ugly.
Gravel sites need re-building. We got better water pressure from our little on-board water pump than the CG water faucet. No exaggeration. They knew about it but obviously didn't care.
Expensive ($90/night), and that was with no sewer at our site! No camp store. Almost no amenities. Pool is above-ground with rickety wooden ramp to access it.
Equipment and supplies left everywhere, next to your campsite. Then, as we left 2 days early, we stopped to use the dump station just to see the remnants of a torn-down building opposite the dump station. Great place for kids to play and get hurt.
So, we paid $90/night for electricity.

We only stayed one night, on our way home. The campground is easy to find and easy to access. Beautiful lake with wide boat launch. Sites are a little close to each other, which is why I can't give it 5 stars. Only problem we had was that it was hard to find the "loop" our site was in. We arrived at dark, and the signage is poor. The "A" in our site number (A040) corresponds to the "Aspen" campground, which wasn't obvious to me (but I'm a rookie). Another camper, walking his dog, helped us find the site. We'd definitely stay here again. The COE sites rock!

Excellent facility. If you need it, they have it. Pleasant staff, clean campground, decent spacing between sites. Couldn't ask for more! We had one of the covered sites, which is definitely cooler for the shade. The one negative review here mentioned "not a blade of grass". Well, you're in Tucson, AZ. It's almost impossible to find a blade of grass in the state. The poster was right about the trains, though. Wasn't loud enough to bother me, but it did my wife, some. Would definitely stay here again!

Having lived in Northern VA for over 20 years, I expected better from NOVA Parks. Access road has lots of low-hanging trees, but even in the park and in our site, trees were pulling on my antenna.
It's a beautiful park, though. Lots of green space for kids to play, and sites are pretty level, but entry is tight. The outer ring of sites, parked nose-to-tail, is where they put the big rigs, and the hookups are on the inside of the sites, so you have to turn around and face toward the exit to get hooked up. That means a K-turn with a 36' class A. There is no place to turn around, and the main road doesn't loop back (actually it does, but there is a locked gate keeping you from doing so.)
The only other criticism is that there is only the dump station at the entrance, and one of the two water connections at that station isn't working right.
Pretty expensive ($61 includes fees, taxes, and the Good Sam discount) for what they provide.

We have stayed here several times. Easy access, decent spacing between sites, grass between sites. No camp store, no amenities. Just good hook ups with good water pressure and very good Wi-Fi. Sites are gravel, but very level. Robert, the owner, Is very friendly and even delivered a UPS package to our rig.

Really wonderful place. The ownership takes great pride in the CG. They keep it clean, keep everything working as it should, and have a truly pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Would definitely stay here for a week or more. Lots of amenities, beautiful facilities (even the laundry room was nice). A bit pricey, but if you take advantage of all the amenities, it is worth it. Free use of ball fields and they will provide a lot of free-to-use equipment like tennis racquets, etc. They have multiple pools, including one indoors. Staff are always around, which makes you feel like there's a "support system" if you need anything. It also provides a measure of security. Access to the CG is gated, and you can just scan your pass and you're in.
Would definitely camp here again.
