Beautiful area. We were just passing through and thought we would update the reviews. The road is dry and accessible. Verizon was 6.5down and 6 up

This is our second time here. We entered just south of the coordinates listed here. We used an entrance across from the scenic overlook. We have a 30ft Class C and didn’t have problems.
Verizon: 51down, 21up
AT&T: 42down, 11up
There are some long term residents here but it’s quiet and we were never bothered. Some areas are cleaner than others. There are some ATV trails nearby so there’s some occasional traffic. The views are great.

We arrived after hours. Check in was pretty smooth with the attendant. It’s a nice kept rv park. Nice views of the mountains. Verizon was about 80 down (I can’t remember up speed). ATT was about 3-5 down. We were able to pay extra for a late check out.

This is a very nice county park. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the views from sunrise to sunset. Spacious and private campsites. Close enough to town for a quick grocery run that isn’t too inconvenient. Verizon was 60down and 13up. ATT was 30down and 7up. My husband used the shower facilities and said they were very private. Check in was easy and the site was freshly raked for us. Can’t wait to stay here again!

This was a quiet campground close to Lawrence with level sites and good spacing. There was easy access to nice walking trails near the lake. We struggled with internet connectivity resulting in us having to move again sooner. Verizon was averaging 6 or 7 down and less than 1 up. AT&T was hit (22 down) or miss (none at all). There was a $5/day vehicle charge for our toad and a $5/day vehicle for our Class C in addition to the site fee, which was odd.

I don’t remember exact speeds but we used Verizon for work over the course of our 13 days there without issue: video conferencing and streaming without problems. There is a loop of sites that are closer together, which is where we were. Everyone was respectful and quiet. Very clean. Other campsites are more private and spread out. Very nice park.

There is barely any cell service on Verizon and AT&T. We weren’t able to work and had to leave right away. Which is disappointing given how long it takes to get into the state park. I will say our drive in had a beautiful sunset. So this would probably be great for someone who isn’t dependent upon reliable internet.

Stayed here for a bit over a week. Had to change spots mid-visit just due to availability. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. The water/electric sites were closer together than the dry camping sites. Verizon was fastest for us (about 20down and 2 up). I don’t remember AT&T speeds but I couldn’t reliably steam Netflix with it. Would absolutely stay here agin

We camped here for one night. It was a fine campground. Limited in terms of privacy between sites but it was nicely kept and site spaces were decently sized. I don’t remember data speeds exactly, but I believe Verizon was somewhere near 20down and 2 up. We had no trouble streaming.

We stayed for about 10 nights. The weekdays are quiet and the weekends are louder. Lots of people come out to ride their ATVs. It didn’t really bother us. There is a campground up the road where you can pay to empty tanks and refill water. Our Verizon download speeds were around 9 or 10. Can’t remember upload but we were fine with video calls for work. Plenty of room and level. We found the areas near the entrances to the BLM had very established camps but the dried lake bed area was plenty of distance away to not notice them. We took Sunfair to Sunflower coming in and it seemed a little dicey in places with our 30ft class C but we made it without problems. We eventually found the option to take Sunfair to Broadway which has more pavement driving. There is a big hole where the pavement ends on Broadway so you will want to move over to the opposite side of traffic to avoid it.
