Four Corners is outside of Nashville on Percy Priest Lake. Depending on traffic it can take about 20-40 minutes to get to downtown Nashville. There aren’t good signs pointing from the road to the campground but those are definitely planned. The campground is very much a work in progress.

There were only 42 sites open when we arrived on the first day they were open for guests, so a lot of construction was still going on and many bugs were still being worked out. However, the park is designed so that the construction mess and noise were away from guests staying in phase 1.

The sites are level concrete pads that are 50 to 70 feet long and plenty wide for a large rigs. Each site has water, sewer, 50/30/20 amp electric and cable television. They also offer very good wi-fi. There is a sandy beach at the edge of the lake that makes playing in the water a lot more fun than the typical rocky shore of the lake. They also have a boat dock for use by guests and they are working on a kayak dock as well. Many other amenities are still under construction or in the planning stages. They have the potential to be a truly wonderful place to camp.

The staff is wonderfully friendly and responsive should a concern arise. We stayed longer than originally planned because we needed to be near our house while it was up for sale. We loved our stay at Four Corners and plan to return there when we go back through Nashville.

This feels like an RV Park in transition. The entrance sign is small and set back from the road so it’s very easy to miss as you drive past. When you go past the entrance and around the bend in the road you see the RV park they seem to be trying to hide with lots of long term residents and rough gravel roads that are hard to navigate. Check in was done online, so I never saw anyone who worked there.
The road is paved but there was quite a dip coming off the asphalt onto the gravel site; we nearly bottomed out the rear of the RV backing into our site and the class A in the site next to us has his front wheels off the ground to get level. We were in Site #30 which had a huge hump in it. In order to level we had to back all the way to the rear of the site which put the sewer connection by the drivers door, too far away for our sewer hose too reach. So when we were ready to dump, we had to break camp just to move several feet.
Each site has its own trash can next to the water, sewer and electric hookups which are toward the front of each site. The water connections are under a manhole cover in the ground so it has no space to connect a water pressure regulator and the hose. We chose to not connect the water without the regulator and instead used a five gallon container to fill our tank.
The description of their amenities on the website is aspirational, at best. We never found the showers beyond a pair of outdoor showers on the back of the office and, while they did offer propane, it was located in an area that couldn’t be accessed to fill an onboard propane tank in a motorhome. Laundry was $3 per load to wash and $3 per load to dry so we chose to use a laundry mat in town.
They are located right next to the bridge to Carolina Beach, so if visiting the beach is your goal the location isn’t bad, but it means there is some road noise from the bridge which is at treetop level next to the campground. Downtown Wilmington is about a half hour away with lots of fun places to explore and the city has a couple of nice parks to go for a walk.
Given the cost of the site and the fact that we couldn’t connect to water or sewer, we didn’t think it was worth it.

This campground was a total surprise. It’s close to I-95 but you would never know it. The campground sits beside a beautiful lake surrounded by trees and the only sounds you hear are the sounds of nature and other campers.
The facilities all appear to be new. The pool is flanked by the well equipped laundry room and the bathrooms and showers. The buildings have clear signage and the office has a small store and a comfortable seating area.
The campsites in our section of the park are all pull-through sites and the only negative is that ours was not very level. Also, the gravel is slippery so wheels tend to dig into the gravel rather that remain on top. Connectivity was sufficient to work remotely.
Savannah and Hilton Head are only a half hour away so this made a convenient place to stop to visit both. There are lots of stores and restaurants on the road to Hilton Head, so finding groceries or anything else we needed was never a problem.

This is a very nice RV park. The sites are mostly very level and there is a mix of back-in and pull-through sites that can accommodate even the largest rigs. It’s located at the western end of Galveston Island so it’s a bit out of the way if you want to explore town, but it’s also a quiet location with only a few beach houses nearby. Which we really liked.

The resort includes a number of very nice amenities including a pool, lazy river, pickle ball courts, basketball net and horseshoes. The office building has a laundry room, community room— which was closed to visitors due to Covid-19 and four large showers rooms. You can also buy ice, ice cream, beer, pina coladas, and margaritas at the office. We may have bought more margaritas than we will admit because they were surprisingly good.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can receive packages (but not regular mail) at the resort and they will usually deliver it to your site, unless the park is full, then they will notify you to come collect your package from the office.

The biggest downside to the park was connectivity. We had issues staying connected for work which was partly poor cell signal (one bar on AT&T) but may also have been interference due to the number of wi-if signals from the rigs around us

We stayed here for the Xscapers Winter Basecamp so we were here for two months. We would definitely stay here again

We booked at the last minute but the person on the phone was so helpful in answering our questions and taking our reservation. That continued to be the case every time I dealt with any member of the staff.

The Hospitality House is the former county hospital, built in a beautiful victorian mansion. The travel park is behind the main building. The campground is on a slope with each site arranged like steps down the hill. The sites and the road around the campground are gravel and dirt and most are pretty unlevel though even the large rigs seemed to make it work, but there were a few with front wheels off the ground.

The laundry is in the bath house at the bottom of the slope. At nearly 10,000 feet walking back uphill from the laundry can leave you out of breath. The largest store in town is a Family Dollar store which has a slim selection of groceries-- mostly packaged foods.

The town is mostly casinos so during the week most shops are closed and it's quiet to the point of being a little creepy. On Thursday and Friday nights the crowds start to show up and the town comes to life. There is also a herd of wild donkeys that wander around town. We woke up to a loud HEEHAW! and looked out of the window to see them all eating grass around the campsite. You'll also see random piles of donkey droppings as you walk around town. We were looking for a quiet pace to work during the week so it worked out for us.

First, the positive. This campground is forested with lots of shade. Our campsite was large and while we could see our neighbors though the trees we didn’t feel like they were right on top of us. The park is an oasis in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. Beach access was a short walk across a parking lot to a walking path that led over the dunes. The beach was beautiful and we had a blast, even though red flags were up most of the time we were there. The fishing pier is fun to visit even if you aren’t fishing. The park is well run and it’s beautiful.
The not so positive. When it rains the campground gets muddy, but I didn’t find it that irritating even having to break camp in the rain on our last day. The most irritating thing, and I can’t believe this wasn’t mentioned more in other reviews, is that the campground is across the road from the end of the runway of Myrtle Beach International Airport. Jets airliners begin flying overhead at 6 AM and there are several an hour until 10 PM. In between are the helicopter tours taking off from the helipad at the end of the runway and the occasional military plane.
Connectivity was just okay. We work full-time from our motorhome and we have a Verizon and an AT&T MiFi and they both struggled to stay connected even with a MiMo antenna.

The park is beautiful with some great amenities including a paved walking trail, horseback riding, a RC airplane field, boating and paddling. The campgrounds overlook the lake, though only a few campsites actually have a water view. There are 5 loops in the campground, a Group Loop then the rest are labeled A-D. We were in the C loop which is electric only. Loops A and B have full hookups. The sites are almost all pull throughs with a concrete pad in the center which made getting in and out easy.

Each loop has 2-3 bathroom buildings, one of which also includes showers and laundry. We were lucky that our site was close to the larger bathroom with the laundry facilities. The showers are $.50 per three minutes and they only take quarters. There is a change machine in the bathroom. The laundry machines take quarters or you can use a pay app. $1.75 to wash, $1.50 to dry.

There are not a lot of trees so very little shade, but that worked for us with our solar panels. The location is right on the edge of Littleton so there is easy access to any shopping needs.

One thing to be aware of is that you will have to pay a $9 per day access fee for the park ON TOP of your camping fee which can add up quickly. I chose to buy a one year State Park pass for $40 more because we plan on coming though Colorado again.
