We were only there for one night because it was an easy on/off I-95, but if we are ever in the area again I would definitely stay here. It looks like a really nice campground with a nice pool and lake, but we were not there long enough to enjoy it. We have 2 kids and so many RV parks charge extra for kids which I think is ridiculous. I am thankful that this park did not charge a "kid tax". Thank you! The check-in process was quick and easy and the lady that checked me in was very nice and friendly. The pull-through site was plenty long enough for our 41 foot 5th wheel and truck. Verizon 4G worked well there. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Really enjoyed the quick stop over. Excellent facilities and overall very well cared for. Grounds and buildings were near perfect. Nice dog walk area. Maintenance was top notch. Nice gator watching at the surrounding lake. Fish and release lake if you have the gear with you.
Cable TV to boot ... we look forward to returning and staying a week or so.

Don't get me wrong. This is a clean well maintained campground. The sites are good size. The grounds are clean. Access in and out is easy. The issues I have are that the WiFi was not working at all during our stay and the pool was closed our stay. I realize that many people do not use these services but some of us do and we look for campgrounds who advertise that they provide it. It bothered me when the receipt I got from this campground had in bold print that the WiFi was free and therefore not guaranteed to work. And coincidentally they said it was not working. They also said the pool was closed. The costs to provide these types of services including WiFi, pool access, bathroom and shower facilities, etc. are included in the camping fee. To say they are free and not guaranteed is just ridiculous.

We semi enjoyed our stay at Camp Lake Jasper. The website was not honest on what they offer as far as Cable, Wi-Fi, trails, and clear water. The cable or wifi never worked, the trails were dangerous and not maintained, and the water was black and murky. Other residents would walk pets and allow them to poop on other sites without even cleaning it up. It was definitely not a kid or young family friendly campground. Very little for the children to do besides rides bikes and swim. The pool and bath houses were EXTREMELY nice and we did enjoy that. The location was easy to find and conveiniant. My main complaints are that it advertises many amenities but doesn't really offer them. The maintenance man was very rude and pushy. This campground needs to be advertised as a retirement community. They made remarks and glares at our children. We did not feel welcomed to say the least. While we were there a tornado warning went into effect and no one notified the campers.... not even a siren on the property. Overall I don't think we will ever revisit this place. NOT OUR CUP OF TEA.

A lot of nice big pull thru sites, sits right on the lake and has kayaks and canoes available for rent. Amenities were all nice - bathrooms/showers and laundry were clean and nice buildings. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice and I noticed it had a wheelchair lift which is a great amenity! Tons of pet friendly areas. They did have a specific dog area but also said you could take them any green space you wanted on leash as long as you clean up after them and they provided a ton of doggie bag stations all over the place. Nice little store up front, friendly management. The lake is pretty, enjoyed sitting on the dock. There's also a big fire pit area and some outdoor games. Would stay here again!

We stayed here just overnight, but this could be a destination park, too, for anyone wanting to stay near the Hilton Head Island/Savanna area for awhile. The park is clean and well laid out. Wifi is strong and very fast. The sites are fairly spacious, but most are out in the sun. Access is easy and the park accommodates big rigs.

Rate posted was for monthly. We stayed here for two months for a job in the area. The park is clean and the staff was always very polite. The area has a lot to see being close to Hilton Head and Savannah. The park internet usually worked just fine for us occasionally I had to make a hotspot. The bathrooms are clean but don't have AC. The pool was nice, but it isn't heated so you can't use it in the winter. We travel with kids and I would say even though it had a pool it isn't the most kid friendly park. It doesn't have a lot for kids, but we were plenty comfortable. Also, the prices were going up in 2018 and I don't believe the park is worth the new monthly rate of $1200. Maybe if they had more amenities.

We heard about this campground in an online Facebook group, where one member gave it high remarks as being very conveniently located near Charleston, Hilton Head and Savannah. In fact, he was highly complimentary about the whole experience, so I gave a call for reservations. The nice staff member called me back within an hour and we had arrangements for a weekend stay. This was a shakedown cruise for our new motorhome, so we really just wanted a reasonably clean and quiet place so that we could continue to learn about our coach. It was perfect. Our site overlooked the small lake, our site neighbors were mature, friendly and helpful. They told us about the nearby national wildlife refuge. The campground staff member also encouraged us to try a certain seafood place in Hilton Head. A popular place with the locals and the food is great with good portions. So...thanks for that recommendation my dear if you are reading this. The clientele was mostly older (like us) and parents would find this park lacking in kid-friendly entertainment options, but for us, it was a park without kids on bikes screaming at each other. Yay!
We will definitely be back.

Very attractive park, well maintained, generous sites with concrete pads, lots of pull thru sites, great dog park, super friendly staff, great laundry facilities (Visa/MC/Apple Pay) easy drive to Hilton Head Island and other major areas in the low country. Full hookups. Pretty good WiFi (we don’t have a booster). Publix grocery and WalMart just a few miles away.
