Nice, comfortable and easy to get to place. Well taken care of, clean bathrooms and laundry facility. Staff work hard on keeping the place well maintained. Dog friendly and there is a dirt road (marked as a hiking trail) around a field that is good for walking around. Spots are in the shade mostly, good cell coverage and quiet. Fishing on the river is available. Good spots for all vehicles and trailers.

This is a nice size reservoir with lots of room for boondocking. It has boat ramp, picnic tables & fire rings at some sites. They have nice vault toilets too. There is a Day use only area and access to the lake is not a problem. There is some brush along the water edge in areas and few trees but would not do for shade really.

It is unprotected from the wind, so that would be a consideration for your plans. This is Wyoming and wind is what they are known for.

We did not stay up there but scouted it out for future since we have a big combination.

There are signs that state camping in designated sites.

Verizon cell was very spotty.

Needs some updating!

The plus side first...great location, dump station, trash bins, nice boat ramp, both flush & pit toilets, easy access to get to, picnic tables with Wyoming low maintenance shade, some fire pits/grill grates, spots seem fairly level but most are narrow.

Down side.. the road is narrow and if you have anything over 30ft then it's really not for you.

These spots are not for the modern size RV and trucks and toads. There is no room to park your tow vehicle, extra vehicle/ trailer. If your bumper pull, might be tricky in some areas on the route around. There are big concrete blocks that line the space that are ready to connect with you and/or your vehicles. No trees or shade.

There was a fifth wheel in a spot and if we had our trailer on, there would be no way we could have gotten by him. The front of his trailer was encroaching into the road.

BLM could easily take some space out and make pull thru, wider back end, widen the road and make some pull ins and make room for extra vehicles with these spaces since you charge for it. These changes would make the campground usable and earn its keep easily.

Overgrown in most of the campground.

It was quiet, not too busy but steady with campers. Typical pit toilets and clean area. Our biggest complaint, needs serious leveling and gravel to brought in. We had to go buy 12" pier blocks to use for our stabilizer Jack's and we weren't the only ones. Many of the sites had ruts, twisty slopes to back up and navigate and irritating to see a tent or micro Minnie in a 60' spur when there are plenty smaller spots to accommodate the smaller rv/tents vs 2 to accommodate the bigger rigs.

The host "Kim" was awesome and the issues were not her fault or in her control. Dog friendly and 0 cell coverage

This park is clean and quiet for the most part. There are several Yapper dogs that get annoying.

There was a septic odor when the wind blew which was not good.

They do not allow tents, van campers and older trailers (I think 10+ years). It is not walking distance of anything which was a bummer. The Governor had all fun canceled so outdoor courts and playground was closed. Small but nice off leash dog park area.

Sites for all size combinations, pull in, back in, thru, some shady in trees, other open & good for solar option.

Rates vary due to options at sites. They have daily, weekly and long term.

Mostly level, well maintained, nice fire pits even though no fires were allowed and picnic tables. Good cell coverage, trails, areas to accommodate people w/ horses, beautiful common area w/ tables and bbqs. We will stay here again anytime we are through here.

Only complaint was no water... they were drilling a new well. We did not use the pit toilets either.

UPDATE- 9-20-20.... Water is working and once again an excellent stay. Pit toilets were good and no stink!

Thanks again to the hosts!!

The campground wasn't bad overall but could use some love. The were spots with and without shade, some leveling needs to be done. There was a few pull thru, back in or pull straight in sites. The creek runs next to several sites but if course those were the first to go. First come, First serve basis, self pay station.

It should be noted that the spots are for 35' total combo length. The toilets were typical and the smell wasn't too bad. I'm picky about that. They had 3 toilet buildings but 1 had the men's out of order. There was 1 water pump which had a note that the water had not been tested and to boil before drinking. It was at the farthest point in the campground. It would have been nice to have at least 2 water stations.

There was a Day Use area with picnic tables and bbq station both in the trees and out.

There is suppose to be an OHV offload area but that was a joke. No OHVs allowed in CG. There is a marked area for ohv offloading but only room for 1 rig and if you aren't good at backing then it is not for you.

We stayed in Site 2 which I think was the only one with no picnic table. Otherwise they had fire pits and tables.

We had a 19 Ram LB with a 16' cargo trailer and were fine. We paid $5 since we have a pass.

Its quiet, spaces for all sizes but the bigger you are the more limited of spaces. Leveling could be a problem. Road is ok, if it's wet it could be greasy. Some trees for shade, river access, pit toilets, trash and a few fire rings. Lots of brush. Worth a stay over at even if it is a but of a drive off the main hwy.

I was saddened on how this park has been let go. I'm not sure if it's due to time or the Election Infection called covid. It was 50 shades of brown, the trees and bushes looked terrible and stressed.

The site was fairly level, some shade trees but they didn't provide much shade. The cell was available but super slow, they had water, power and dump station but no sewer at site. It was quiet and plenty of open sites but I would still recommend making reservations. There is nothing really close (stores) so bring what you need & remember this is snake country. The river is really low this time of year too.

Plenty of room to move for all size rigs.

NOTE- Non residents pay close attention the Gov has raised the rate for up to 30%. She claims it's temporary but I doubt it.
