All roads are mine tailings from the Iron industry. Pot holes fill with water but have solid bottoms. No mud to get stuck in. Price is right and there are several lakes within walking distance. Also just a couple miles to Crosby which has great dinning options.

Way back in the woods. Active boat ramp with pit toilet just after the camping spots.

This is probably the shortest site on this road. Had to park beside my trailer. The other sites are much longer

When reserving, make sure to add tow vehicle length into length of space needed. Our site was only 20’ long. Had to park truck at shower house.

The road going in is gravel but very nice. Any size rig can drive it. The last mile to the campground was very bumpy. No pot holes or large bumps, just rattled everything.

This city park has a lot to offer. Fishing,walking trails, dog park, camping with full hook ups, play ground, and new bathrooms.

2 mile interpreted trail that describes prairie environment. Not much for me to do here but the camp sites are well maintained. I camped on 16 February 2018. There is an automatic gate that closes at 6pm. You can get out but no one can get in. Not sure if time changes in summer.

Climbed that big hill getting in. Everything not secured ended up in back of trailer. Found the back way in by carefully studying maps and followed instructions in previous posts. Best advice: CR 32 is first left turn after Blue Mesa campground as you leave Gunnison.

I couldn’t find any signs about be able to camp here.

Nice place to set up. We rode our ATVs around. There are also bike and hiking trails. The road coming in is in great shape with some minor washboard. The spots are spread out so you shouldn’t have any neighbors.
