While not filled with a lot of standard KOA amenities, it is a nice campground. You can’t get any more peace and quiet, which I am always looking for. It is just off of Highway 79, up a steep hill. Check in is at the hotel. Before you enter the campground. The site is built on a mountain with 4 distinct sections keeping it from feeling like your standard RV parking lot. Maybe st sites are pull thru with full hook ups. Because it is associated with the hotel, campers can use the small hotel pool and restaurant. The site has laundry, showers and a small dog run (all at the bottom of the hill). The site is filled with trees but most of the rv spots are full sun. The hill coming in off the highway is steep with a tight turn but doable. You are a stones throw to Lake Sutton. Recommend if you are looking for quite and low key.

Such a great park if you need to be close to Dallas or Fort Worth. Located in a tree filled lot right in the middle of Arlington. Close to the stadiums, Cowboys and Rangers, the highway, I-20 and shopping. 25 minutes to either downtown with tons of travel options. It is helpful to have a Texas toll tag but not necessary. The park is beautifully maintained with hundreds of live art at trees creating a wonderful shady canopy. There is a pool, a dog park, both pull through and back in spots, a gym, and a very tidy on site laundry. The staff was terrific and super helpful. This is a great city campground

I left a day early because I was not comfortable here. Sites on top of each other in the 150 section. They rented 2 gravel sites to tent campers next to me. In an effort to be on softer ground they pitched the tent 30” from the back of my rig. The camp roads are rough and very tight for 2 way traffic. This is a kid friendly camp with activities and a pool. They have planned events on weekends. Absolutely no cell service or WiFi. Too much going on and too many very old seasonals. Just not my scene. It is close to some great state parks with cool waterfalls. There is a positive.

A hidden little regional park right on the shore of Lake Erie. Well kept tidy camp with a boat ramp, concession stand, playground and views that can’t be beat. Many seasonal campers here, creating a tight community. Sites are reservable via phone. 35 minutes to Cleveland with easy highway access. Lake Erie bluffs park, nearby, is chock full of hiking/biking paths along the lake shoreline. Electric hookup with hoses available to fill your tank. The sites are small but the views outweigh the tight quarters. A great spot to experience the lake.

Sites are on 2 loops. The sites have a decent amount of space between them so you are not on top of each other. Picnic tables at each site. Not a lot of trees so many sites are in the direct sun. There is a mix of 50 and 30 amp, some sites with water some without. Very quiet. I found the sites easy to back into due to the layout. One loop allows animals, the other doesn’t. I was able to make a very last minute reservation with a number of site options available.
If coming by gps, make sure you put in Bald Eagle State Park modern campground. 9 miles to a number of big box stores and 30 to Penn State.
