Just stopped overnight. Site 17 was clean level and large. Picnic table and fire ring. Bathrooms nice. Loads of biking hiking trails. Our site was surrounded by trees but overhead clear

Friday afternoon we arrive. The area by the river was full. We snagged a space in the 2nd row. We soon learned that jet skies were the order of the weekend. They started zipping up and down the river at 0900 stopped sometime after dark. There is a quiet time I think 10 to 9. Regardless we had loud music till well after midnight both Friday and Saturday. Sunday the weekend crew packed up and we’re gone by 7pm Sunday night was lovely as was Monday . Silly me booking a campsite along the Colorado River on a weekend. I have learned my lesson!

Big spacious sites. Nice restrooms. Electric only, water inconviently located throughout park. Sites well back from lake with overgrown bushes blocking view and access. Close to the falls. Would stay again, just wouldn’t expect much. No cell service on ATT, marginal on Verizon.

We stayed in Water/electric site #144. Empty during week, packed on weekends. Perfect location to explore the area. Lake is full looks gorgeous. There are campsites here for every type of camper. Beautiful sites lakeside bluffs for tents. Sites in general are large. Site includes fire pit and table. FHU section has typical spacing, we opted for partial and site was large with a huge oak tree in corner. Price is in keeping with Santa Barbara area in general.

Arrived mid afternoon. Check in was easy. Dolly was delightful. Close to wine tasting. It is a dusty unkempt place to park your RV, No amenities. Full hook ups. This park needs some love and attention. Space available most rigs are long term. I don’t think I will return.

Site 9, level, large not much screening from neighbor. Bike trails good. Some camping areas had full hook ups we didn’t and I would look for one of those. Restrooms ok need upgrades but were ok. Laundry at bathrooms. Cable tv available. Cell service usable.

December camping is iffy. Cold, but sunny. Hiking trails not overly crowded early in day, lots fill up in late morning. No shuttle in winter to trail heads. Condors, falcons and many moles and ground squirrels call this home. Bathrooms functional. Pay showers. Site reasonably level. Absolutely no AT&T or Verizon cell service whatsoever.

Great location. Site 62 reasonably level. Firm sand. Very private. Good cell signal. Close to St. Augustine and St Augustine Wildlife Reserve. Facilities ok need some updating. Laundry at Bathrooms. We would come back here.

Electric only site with table and fire pit. Had to call a number posted at campground to secure site. Does not honor Nat’l Parks Lifetime SR Pass. Was more expensive because we don’t live here. No wonder I boondock most of the time.
