We stayed overnight on our drive West- I read reviews and wasn’t sure and even arriving still wasn’t sure but this KOA is pretty great. Make sure and follow the KOA signs once in town, even then narrow streets to the campground. My only negative would be the rough road leading into the entrance. And yes there’s a pretty steep road going up to the actual sites from the check in (all sites are actually atop a hill (mountain?) and the turn left into the sites from the hill was kinda crazy. Towing a 38 ft 5th toy hauler and it was very doable but just a smidge tight on that incline/turn. All sites are on a hill but we had no problem leveling. Landscaping here though is probably better than most KOAs I’ve been to, the dog park was large and green (also better than most koas), the campground updated too! Again great landscaping in those areas. Minimal road noise. Staff was very nice. Didn’t use the internet so can’t speak to that but had no problem streaming Disney + using our Verizon data. Also cannot speak to the bathrooms. Would stay here again!

We were traveling Northbound and the Smokey Point rest area was closed for a few days, I called the city and this was an easy place to stop off to. Donation asked, minimum of $3. Kinda of a slim parking lot, and tight turn to exit if you have a big rig!

We stayed here to see Zion and Bryce Canyon end of November into Dec where some places aren’t open this time of year so even though it was a drive we chose this KOA. We have a 38ft toyhauler and F350. it was about 2.5 hours from Bryce Canyon but only 45 min to Zion- perfect for us and to our surprise there was great hikes just across the street (you could walk!) at Red Cliffs! We used All Trails to find other hikes. Overall I enjoyed this KOA- the internet was spotty but not a big deal for us. And the sites are def not level but have some blocks are your golden. There is freeway noise too but it wasn’t bothersome to us. But the owners were kind and the park was clean and maintained. My kids played pickleball almost everyday! Thanksgiving weekend was very crowded but come Sunday it emptied out!! The washers and dryers are able to be paid and controlled by an app which was great for us since I forgot quarters and the office was closed for Thanksgiving/Black Friday. Overall we could definitely stay again.

We stayed here as long as they’d let me book and we would stay again, I would glad to get 17 days even. Huge dirt lots with fence around the parameter, nice dog area, pool and amenities! Laundry room was remodeled during our stay, can’t speak to the restrooms as we didn’t use them. Our spot was across from the bball, pool, nice corner lot. R the resort was about 30 min to our family in Phoenix, 17 min to closest Fry’s, plenty of others stores within a short drive. Everyone we ran into was very kind! Only thing I’d rate is access, for some reason Google maps has you turn onto the road before the entrance (to a closed entrance) and it was very not ideal to turn around with a 36 ft 5th wheel

We stayed one night, arrived just after noon on a Friday and got the last back in site along the lake trail, there were more pull throughs abut it would be been tough.we have a 37ft fifth wheel toy hauler and imo the back in was tight with the paver wall across from our site but my husband and managed! Nonetheless we really enjoying the peaceful quiet of the lake. Our kids fished along the lake trail quite a few times (catch and release) and we enjoyed walking the lake loop with our dogs. The sites themselves were clean and nice flat concrete! Cannot speak to the bathrooms as we didn’t use them.

We came end of July for dipnetting and stayed in the pasture, no hookups with our 39ft toy hauler. Great spacious lots out in the pasture, we were next to the fish cleaning station and larger porta potty that was surprisingly very clean! The entrances to the pasture were kinda bumpy and had a dip which would easily damage your rig if you aren’t careful- and I can see how if it was raining the pasture could be a soft mess. But we hit some beautiful weather!
We ended needing to add some adults to our site to tent with us and they were very gracious and accommodating! $70/night is somewhat steep for dry camping but we had showers, fish cleaning station and a large pasture to let the kids run around, compared to the $50 something to overnight at the Kenai north beach campground- it was totally worth it for us! We will definitely be coming back next year when we fish!!

When we arrived after hours it was apparent our site I chose wouldn’t work for our rig (some have a more sloped approach to the pads) and so we parked at another that I made sure wasn’t reserved for the night, the staff was very gracious and accommodating. We would love to come back if ever in the area.

We chose this campground simply due to the way lower cost compared to places with FHU in W Yellowstone, our site had electric so 50 amp was enough for us to have an enjoyable time. We easily fit our 39’ toy hauler fifth wheel into the loop/site. We had a mixture of snow and rain which made for chilly nights and lots of snow or mud on the road in and out. The road that leads into the campground looks like it was recently leveled and new gravel added. After some wet weather the loop itself already had alot of pot holes and add in mud, made for good fourbying. But nothing I would ding them for, if you aren’t used to this camping..then why are you camping? Our sight was very spacious. They seemed to be doing to tree clearing too in spots.
My only negative was check in, no clear signage, no “obvious” sign for camp host, no one greeting us, so we ended up just going to our site and it worked out. Heads up no showers or dump station. Water fill up at entrance. Easy short drive to the entrance to Yellowstone, great Verizon service.

Driving NB to the border and rest area was closed July 18-22
