“5 miles north of West Yellowstone!”
This is bear country! Please follow [bear safety and food storage requirements](https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/custergallatin/learning/safety-ethics).
We planned to camp in Yellowstone National Park, but it was way too much crowded. We didn't want to wait 3 hours or more to get a campsite so we headed out of the park to find this beautiful and remote campsite directly at Hebgen Lake.
Great campground right next to
in Yellowstone you are not staked right next to your neighbors.
Loved this campground! Clean, quiet, private campsites close to Yellowstone. Beautiful!
We camped here in the spring with our small aluminum boat and went fishing. Beautiful and quiet. Great bird watching opportunities on the lake. Be 'bear aware' here.
