We pulled in late and left early. There was only one spot left when we arrived at 9:15 and although there were no sites for late check-in The camp host was kind enough to find us and find a spot
The staff was really friendly. Sight was fine. Full pull through. Bathrooms were clean. Location was close to the road. They were making breakfast on Saturday morning for the guests.
We were away early. That said, 3. Mi up the road there was a loves where you could camp at exit 31.

Located on the outskirts of Montrose. This is more an urban KOA than a rural. Location to the national Park is pretty convenient. Only about 10 minutes to the entrance. Lots of stores in a close distance.
The staff, unlike most KOAs that we have stayed at was blunt into the point, professional, but not particularly enthusiastic or helpful.
Sites are gravel and relatively small.
Showers were very very clean. Among the best of the KOA. Wi-Fi service was good. Cell service was good. Laundry Facilities were adequate but two of the machines were out of order.
If you're looking for a layover or a convenient location to Black canyon of the Gunnison, this is good. But nothing special besides that.

Easy to get to. Close to the highway but not too close. Pretty area nearby. Great proximity to Kentucky horse park (as you'd expect).
Definitely stay on the outer loop. It was quiet despite being full. Did not use the bathhouses but looked clean. Nice staff.

Although we saw some negative reviews about this location, we were very pleased. Staff was spectacular. Super friendly. Very helpful.
The campground is very conveniently located to ouray. We stayed in site 20. It was electric and water only but very nicely situated with close proximity to main building and bathhouse. But it still had privacy.
Would recommend staying in sites 2-9, 12 to 18, 20, or 30-37. As we drove in, we thought 2 - 9 would not be optimal but they back up to a beautiful running creek. Although they are electric and water only.
This KOA includes a restaurant, laundry, coffee shop, and a nice camp store.

First of all, the entire campground was gravel. Small gravel. And although the sites were nice and level and there was plenty of space, there are literally no trees at all in the campground except for in the tent sites.
The bathrooms were very clean, but you had to pay $2 for the shower. The staff was not particularly friendly, but that isn't the primary problem
The primary problem with this location is simply the fact that you're in a parking lot with hookups. We would not choose to stay there again. Location relative to Estes Park was fine.
