We stopped by on our way through. They were so helpful! We are first time RV owners and the guy (Leo) was so patient and helpful! He explained everything and let us borrow a few things we didn't think to bring!

First thoughts on arrival… The property is well laid out and is beautiful to walk.

1st issue: No fire wood available for the premium “Patio Sites”… no worries, no fire 🔥.

2nd issue: The WIFI is not strong enough to handle a 1/2 to 3/4 full park in November… no worries because my data plan is working here.

3rd issue 😬: The shower doors (by the office) have been kicked in and do not lock. This is a HUGE problem for my wife due to security reasons.

We did find the family restrooms / shower has a deadbolt and a couple can share, BUT… They were very dirty and kinda run down 🙁.

This KOA park needs some work but has HUGE potential.

Although the sites are very close to one another, it was a very quiet evening. The staff are pleasant and they even take your to your site.

Stayed one night passing through. Nice KOA with good facilities, and good dog park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Site was treed so was not able to get satellite connection. Roads were navigable for my 38' coach with Jeep in tow. Did not detach while there. Gravel site and gravel roads. Sites are a bit tight. Road noise from I-70 definitely noticeable when outside, but could barely hear it inside the motorhome. Our site was relatively level but didn't appear that all sites were that way. Wifi was below average, water pressure was average. Cable TV was snowy.

We stopped for two nights on our cross country road trip and loved it. Great people, fully stocked store, ice cream, playgrounds, pool and gem mining! We loved our stay here! #roadtrippingthompsons
