This place was easy to access; check-in was smooth; people were nice; property was clean; site was level; and a lovely smell of barbecue wafted through the air (never did figure out the source.) The only negative was the lack of wifi. My site (#17) was on one of the property borders which might be why I was never able to maintain a connection. Did have decent service on T-Mobile and AT&T.

This is a gated RV community of owned or leased sites; most seem to be for permanent residents, but some sites are bookable online via Campspot. Site spacing and roads are a bit on the tight side.

The property is tree-covered with hooting owls hidden in the Spanish moss, and slopes toward Little Lake Kerr. The designated swimming area is small and disconcertingly close to areas marked as gator territory. Swimming and clubhouse facilities were closed for COVID (Feb 2021).

The shoreline faces west and the sunsets really turn the lake to a spectacular red. (If you stay there until dark, carry a flashlight for the walk back to your site; the roads are dark and busy with tricked-out golf carts.

The park is very close to Salt Springs Recreation Area — probably a 10-15 minute walk or a two-minute drive.

A couple of good restaurants — a pizza place and a breakfast/lunch spot — are right outside the park and easily walkable. There’s also a Dollar General right there.

I had little-to-no cell service and paid the fee for wifi access — $5 for a day; $26 for a week — which was decent enough for remote work including Zoom calls.

Stayed here for a few days of remote work and had no complaints. Things I liked:

- Strong wifi. It was 95% reliable, and fast enough for remote work including Zoom calls.

- Bird sounds. It was like living in an aviary. Varieties of chirping and hooting were continuous, which some might find irritating, but I loved.

- Pool. The pool is 9 feet deep at one end. One can really jump with enthusiasm into a depth like that. It also makes that side of the pool kind of a default adult area, since the kids tend to stick to the shallow end.

The only downside was driving proximity to Memphis. With the I-40 bridge out of service, there was always a traffic jam at the remaining bridge, so the short drive over to Memphis could take over an hour.

Overall, recommend.

Arrived at night and found an envelope waiting, but when we went to the assigned site, there was someone there. We found an empty site of the same type a few spaces down and hooked up there. The next day they called us back to say that they had assigned us to the wrong site, and had actually assigned us to a more expensive site than we had reserved. They then gave us the choice of packing up and moving to the less expensive site, or paying the higher rate. Would have been nice to be allowed to stay where we were for the original rate since it was their mistake, but no. We didn't feel like moving (it was raining) so that's how we ended up paying $90/night.

The sites were level and clean concrete pads. Easy access to/from I-95, and within range of Uber Eats (had some good BBQ from a place called Bono's.)

INTERNET:
T-Mobile excellent (125 down; 25.8 up);
AT&T Okay (11.5down; 6.52up);
Campground wifi numbers were terrible (Ping 1009; 0.89 down; 0 up) but Zoom calls seemed to work well.
