This was just an overnight stay as we were returning home so we cannot comment on much of their amenities. Very clean, quiet, country farmland setting. Full hookups are always a plus! Small ponds or lakes down the road had kayaks and canoes out on water. We were given site #43 which was horribly uneven. Our leveling system didn’t even touch an attempt at getting leveled. We moved camper and fire ring over as far as we could still to no avail. Photos attached. The sewer i hookup is approximately 12 inches higher than the gravel campsite pad and our sewer slinky holder wouldn’t work. We used 4x4 boards that were left at the campsite to raise our sewer hose so we had proper flow. Posted quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Our neighbors began hooking up their 5th wheel by flashlight at 3:40am. Started their diesel flatbed at 4:10am and left run for thirty mins before pulling out. :(. Annoying! But this is not typical for the campgrounds we’ve stayed at and not the fault of Miles Landing either.

This was our first time camping at this location. We were only there for (3) nights. Most of the sites are long-term campers. Mature trees, but sites are tightly packed. Our assigned site was up front near the highway and road noise was very loud all night long. Also, the garbage trucks came to empty dumpsters in the wee hours of the morning and several of our neighbor campers must leave for work starting their noisy engines between 5:30-7:00am. This was annoying for us because we were on vacation. The only reason for the “No, wouldn’t stay there again” is because of the location of our site and lousy road noise. The premises were kept very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially helpful for backing in to campsite. No campfire rings or grills at individual sites. But a nice lifetime picnic table was at every campsite. There is a small stocked pond for fishing. And covered picnic tables for community use on each loop. We used their laundry facilities and they were clean. There is a community center, but not sure what daily or weekly activities are scheduled, but they did bring in a local BBQ food truck one night during our stay.

Beautiful peninsula surrounded by water. Even non-waterfront sites on the hill would feel like you were on the water. Water/electric hookup only. Dump stations at exit. Kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals available. Pontoon and jet ski rentals available in the area. Boat launch as well. Lots of different types of watercraft present on the lake. Small beach and picnic Pavillion with grills available on main land. Check-in at Campstore/Gift Shop. Shower house was clean. Campground was quiet and very busy. It’s a happening place. Waterfront Restaurant/bar in town had live music which was fun to listen to at night. Each site had picnic table and fire ring. Golf carts allowed for additional fee. Our site was right on the water. Neighbors fished and small kids swam and used paddle boards from their campsite. Sites are close. Pads are gravel with nice paved roads. My ONLY complaint is there was not even one garbage can anywhere on the peninsula. Not even in shower house. Garbage must be walked or driven to main land and placed in large roll-off type dumpster.

Beautiful peninsula setting on the lake. Waterfowl present. Quiet. Friendly campers. Contactless check-in. Watercraft rentals available. Beach and roped area for lake swimming.
Not far from town where you can find gas, restaurants, grocery and laundromat. This appears to be a campground with long term campers as well as short term. Water and electric only hookups. Gravel loops and gravel pad. Picnic table and campfire ring provided. Spacious sites. Dump station is available. Our only complaint was the grounds by our site, which was a waterfront site, had not been mowed in a long time. The grass was well over 12” tall. Perfect for critters of all kinds to stay hidden.

First time ever staying at this campground. Beautiful place. Hilly. Quiet and peaceful, but a couple things could really be improved upon. Camp store/Registration overlooks a lake. Entrance to campground is confusing. There is a sign, but no directional arrows indicating a turn for campground. We ended up going straight leading us to camp store/registration where they politely told us, in future, please park camper at site, then come check-in. We would’ve if that had been indicated in email or on invoice from online reservation.
There is a nice playground centrally located within the loop. Campsite numbers are not very visible. They are posted on electric hookup which is back off road. Each site had a picnic table and campfire pit. No water or sewer hookups. There is water available shortly after entrance and mid-loop. Nice restrooms and shower house. Critter bandits in the area. Our bad, we forgot to remove our garbage the night before. Sites are gravel and/dirt. Most are pretty uneven and could use attention. The dump station is very poor design. It is at entrance, BUT FACES WRONG DIRECTION for campers. Upon exiting loop you need to maneuver a 180 turn and back DOWNHILL or completely leave campground access road and turn around and re-enter backing UPHILL so that gray and black tanks are in correct side. BAD DESIGN!! There is a drop box attached to shower house for public dump station use which is nice to know.

First time camping here. We loved it so much that we made arrangements to stay again on our way back home. We had a riverfront site. The pads are concrete and very large among wooded setting. Quiet and very peaceful. Full hookups were a bonus. Campfire rings, grills and lampposts provided. Loops are great for walking or biking. Two playgrounds for kids. Laundry facilities available. Bathrooms and shower house was very clean. We look forward to staying here again.
