Highly recommend, especially for a one- or two-night layover. The premises are spotlessly clean, including the bathroom and shower facilities. Moore's is set on a compact lot with gravel pads. Ours was perfectly level with a picnic table, fire ring, and reliable shore power. A water spigot, with good pressure, was also on our site. They also provide propane as needed.
Campsites are closely spaced, but our night here was quiet and peaceful.
Staff was very friendly, and the reception area includes a roomy camp store.

Anita Lake is beautiful and the full-service RV sites are positioned to give great views, but we were disappointed by our stay. The RV pads (on crushed stone) are fairly level, but are among the most tightly-packed we have encountered. The facilities are adequate but tired, including the showers. There was no camp store (except for firewood). Navigating the park also isn't transparent, including check-in procedures and trash removal. That said, the campsites were quiet and without any light pollution at night, allowing clear views of the stars.

We stayed at Cape Henlopen two nights in late October. Very clean, quiet campground with reliable 30/50 amp service and clean water (at our site on D Loop).

Most, but not all, sites are paved and level. Some are shallow, so keep that in mind for larger rigs.

Campstore is conveniently located but was temporarily closed during our stay.
Fire rings are of great quality; sturdy and raised to facilitate campfires.

Check out the trails, which aren't always well-marked but eventually lead to a terrific and long beach/surf. And bring the bikes! Miles of easy bike paths. We will certainly return.

Can't say enough good things about this campsite. Level sites, lakeside views, power and water at each site, trash receptacles, clean showers -- the list goes on. Even better, it's run by the city using an honor system in which fees are left in a drop box. The tree-lined gravel sites, which also include a fire ring and picnic table, are available on a first come, first served basis.
The City of Ellis is itself charming and well worth a visit. The campground reflects the justified pride folk in their town, and we are so glad we found this little gem. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. The campground is part of a larger complex on Lake Erie with clean beaches, a conference center, miles of bike trails, and wildlife areas. It's hard to go wrong with RV sites here; virtually all of the ones we saw had new shore power hookups (50 and 30 amp), asphalt pads, and large private and landscaped lots. Water fill-ups are at various points around the campground. The dump station and dumpsters are at the entry point for the campground. Bike rentals are available at the the well-stacked camp store, which also is at the campground entrance.
May flies can be expected in May and June. They are harmless but get a tad annoying at dawn and dusk, but are a minor inconvenience.

We stayed here two nights in April (mid-week) and will certainly return. The RV camping area is small, but that is a plus in terms of noise and closeness to nature.
Our site was level crushed stone, which kept mud to a minimum, and had a newer picnic table and fire ring. Firewood was easily accessible via the camp host at a site close to ours. The sites are tiered, adding additional privacy. Various trails also radiate from the campground.
On-site water and shore power were just fine, as was the nearby dump station Staff was universally friendly Highly recommend!
