Driving the parkway in relentless rain was no fun. No place to camp so we found Alberts Lodge via Google. We were pleasantly surprised. Although everything is very dated, there wasn’t a speck of dust or weird smells in sight. Our room had a mini kitchen with an oven! Bathroom was spotless with good hot water and pressure.
Nice park, clean bathrooms. Sites are a little tight. There is a little store on site and the people were very friendly. Great waterfalls nearby.
We enjoyed our stop, takes maybe an hour to visit but worth it. The displays are interesting and well done.
Worth the stop. Beautiful tribute to a great man. Detailed description of the life and death of president Roosevelt. The grounds are beautiful and the State stone walk is very interesting.
As the review below states from 2017, there is no more chair :(
Great place. Clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Wi-Fi is an issue we had none only at clubhouse and office area, data only at our site. Not crowded and quiet at night.
Although it’s more a place to park, we enjoyed our stay. The place is clean has laundry available and is walking distance to the small town of Bisbee. It was quiet at night and we had a space that overlooked the old mine, it was beautiful. It’s small but I wouldn’t pass it up.
Very cute town center, with a coffee shop a museum a couple restaurants all with walking distance of each other. There is a beautiful lake across the street with a walking path of probably a mile and a half. It was a great place to stop and stretch grab a bite to eat and get a coffee to go.
First the good, the young woman at the front desk was great. After that I’ve not much to recommend, place has all the essentials and clean enough to not feel icky, Wi-Fi is at best spotty. Be prepared to have sand everywhere. We were a overnight stop in a conversion van.
