Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 02, 2020This park has everything a person could want except maybe a golf course on-site. Very very friendly people, plenty of activities, in fact more than we could possibly keep up with. So if you are a social butterfly this place is for you. Great pool and hot tubs, weight room, pool hall, great library, large sites,. The only thing I would say is for a resort type setting I would expect more modern bathrooms, like marble or granite tops, not seeing the plumbing under the sinks ect. But they are always clean so not really a ding. We will certainly go back and hopefully stay longer the next time. A 55+ Park but active.

We've stayed here numerous times, sometimes in the $5 boondocking area, other times in a full hookup site if one is available. Because this is an Escapees Co-Op park, lot owners can put their sites in the rental pool when they are gone. Since most people stay here in the winter it's not always easy to get a site. You must be an Escapees Club member, or the guest of a member who lives here.
The boondocking sites are close together but there is a bathroom, laundry room, dump and water. It's an extra $5 to dump. The regular sites in the upper full hookup section vary, but most are nicely spaced and offer some privacy.
The park is very nicely landscaped with good mountain views. There are many daily activities if you're into that kind of thing. We learned to play pickleball and felt very welcomed by the other players even though we are beginners. Everyone we met was very friendly. The pool and jacuzzis are wonderful, and not heavily used. They have a nice fitness room, pool tables, and huge library. We also joined the hiking club on one of their Tuesday morning hikes and had a great time.
The park feels quite remote, but It's about 12 miles on a very winding road to the east side of Temecula where there is a Walmart, Best Buy, Sprouts, Home Depot, etc. Another 5-10 miles to more shopping (Costco, Trader Joe's and everything else you could possible need). Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic in Temecula.

Overall the park is well kept and the people I met while staying here were very nice and included me in activities. Mind you I was only here on a stop over as I traveled West, then North up the California coast.
This park is out in a remote area and requires a drive to do just about anything, including shopping. There is some hiking close by. If you do bring water. It gets hot out here.
Sites very here, but many of the owners are very creative. I stayed a particularly nice one, but I forgot the site number.I didn't use the boondocking area, but is also was well maintained, having it's own Laundry room. I probably will use this area if I return and the weather is a little cooler.

A beautiful oasis in the desert 20 minutes from Temecula Wine Country.
It's $35 a night to get a full hookup space and only $7 a night for boondocking. In order to rent a site at Jojoba Hills you must be a member of the Escapees RV Club. But of course all RVers should be an SKP anyway. :) I first heard about Jojoba Hills a few years ago, friends were on the waiting list to become members and they recommended I check it out. I spent two nights in a full hookup site, took the tour and made a deposit to become a member! I moved in here in October and LOVE IT. Guests who rent spaces or boondock are very welcomed to enjoy every amenity. I could keep on typing but just check out our website www.jojobahills.com.
NOTE all ages can camp here but to become a member, it is a 55+ park.

This Escapees resort has a huge amount of facilities: pottery, painting, crafting, metalsmith, lapidary, large pool, 2 hot tubs, 2 saunas, pickleball and much more. Huge lots. It is in a beautiful part of the desert at 2,000 feet. Temecula is only 17 miles away with every restaurant and store you could want.
The members are extremely friendly. They have a Verison tower on site and soon will be getting AT&T tower.

I think because SoCal is busy there are less long term Rv spots to stay. When jojoba resort said they had a spot I didn’t see the red flags ahead of time. When I called and booked a spot she reminded me they are a “quiet” resort. Yes you can hear a pin drop. Sites are large which is nice. Took us over an hour just to get from the resort to get 15 because of the horrible traffic coming down the hill from the resort. The owners of the site we were staying decided to visit and do “yard work” while we’re there and all their friends came to visit . It was awkward they were there half day. I was also confronted by a neighbor 2 rows down that we need to put our recyclable boards in the proper bin and knew it was us so do not deny it. It was a odd vibe there and we have a 7 year old. It is over 55 community but they make exceptions for escapee members. It was hard to relax there. Felt like we were walking on egg shells.

Great place. Clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Wi-Fi is an issue we had none only at clubhouse and office area, data only at our site. Not crowded and quiet at night.
