Sam and Uma are wonderful hosts and this is one of our most favorite parks. We have stayed here over the past few years and the park is consistently well kept. Convenient location to shopping in Shipshewana, RV surplus stores and a short drive to Elkhart for a visit to the RV Museum.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, lots of shaded sites, clean restrooms and a washer/dryer is a welcome addition. The on-site frozen custard stand can be very dangerous to your waistline with flavors changing weekly.

Traveling south through Ohio and needed an overnight stop. Looked at the sites online and a couple seemed like we’d fit. Luckily we arrived on a Sunday evening when most everyone had left the park. Had there been any other campers next to the site we were on we would not have been able to get in or out.
We did get on the site but it was extremely unlevel. Since we were there for only 1 night it was fine. We did draw a lot of attention from the campers there as I think most big rigs avoid this park.

Great location and wonderful wooded sites. We have a 40’ Bluebird Wanderlodge and we fit very nicely in West Rim site 22 with lots of room to spare for our Chevy Avalanche toad. Dogs also had plenty of room to explore. Very private and level site. Short walk to the comfort station and laundry if you like to utilize those type of amenities. Comfort station was very well kept and clean.

First time visiting the area and found East Harbor to be a great location for checking out Port Clinton and Put In Bay. We had to move sites after 2 nights to be able to stay as long as we wanted but it was worth the inconvenience. The park was packed and everyone was having a great time. Both sites were pull thru with plenty of room for the toad.
Short trip to either ferry for a day trip to Put In Bay and Port Clinton was 5 minutes or less. A nice drive out to Marblehead Lighthouse is a must do while there.
The showers were cleaner earlier in the day and if you were close to them many folks would short cut through your campsite.
The beach area was great and the dog friendly beach will give you and the pups a workout to get there but it’s worth it.
We would definitely return when back in the area.

Secluded and peaceful. Close to historic sites in Wytheville and the VIrginia “Claw of the Dragon” ( Viriginias version of the “Tail of the Dragon” in Georgia). Not much for kids to do in the park but there is a nice 1 mile Nature Trail that runs through the park. Beautiful scenic drives close by and a trip up to Walker Tower to view the valley is fun. Would definitely stay here again.
