AZ State Land Permit required (pay online- $15 for 1 year.) First 4 miles in, the (limited #) of spots are right off the road without any barrier/spacing from road. As others mentioned already, it is a very (!) popular route for weekender, hiker and ATV's (not sure why they can't make them less noisy...) With all this cars, trucks and ATV's it is very dusty and noisy during the day. Some truck drivers found it amusing to speed up or even honk while passing camps late at night. About 6 miles in, the road has some major dips from 2022 winter storms, I am sure they will fix it at some point. Also 6+ miles in you can find spots off the road, which are much more quiet and less dusty.
I only would consider it as an overnighter on-route because it's such easy access off 60.

There are TWO different locations (!) APPLE MAPS directs you to take a LEFT off Park Link Road, which is not for large rigs, only for van's & cars. You can also take a RIGHT off Park Link Road (what the video in this post refers to) and it is for RV & Large Rigs. I took a LEFT with a 21' trailer, and I was lucky to find a spot with a side path were I was able to back myself in/out off and turn myself around. It is a very tied One Way, road, lot's of brush that scratches your rig. About 3/4 miles in, the road get's even narrower/rugged, with dips and sandy patches, until it get's really sandy. You can tell people got stuck there. **THE VIDEO in this posting shows the RIGHT TURN road, and it is a great spot. Nice vegetation, very clean (hope it stays like that). Only heard a few shooting sounds in the distance. Very dark & quiet at night (unless someone runs the generator....)

Rather new rest stop. Very windy. Clean, light. Felt save to stay in my trailer. Traveled Sunday, light travel. Of course noise from 15 right next door.

Newer park, easy access and great base camp to explore. Could be hot in summer, there is not much shade, but all other parks around don't have shade either. The spacing is pretty good compare to other "parking lot set up" parks in this area. All is very clean and kept up and leveled. I was in a back-in spot, and plenty of room to get in and maneuver around (even for still newbie). The shower are the best I have experienced: each bathroom (ROOM) incl. shower, sink, toilet. Staff is super friendly, seem's it's family owned and it shows. I have not used the laundry, but it looks great, also laundry/restrooms are 24/7 open. Noise: the train tracks are right there. But it did not bother me too much, they don't blow the horn and gone within 5 min :) HWY 6 is not far and you clearly hear traffic noise, again, didn't bother me to much. If noise is your main concern, best best is dispersed camping, away from the large streets. Oh the Wifi is to die for, best I had on entire trip!

May be it depends on climbing conditions on how busy this place is. I tried it on a Monday 8/29/22, dry & sunny: forget it (!!) No chance you will get a spot, did I mention "none"?! :)) Tickets stacks up on each site post for days/weeks in advance. Perhaps the peer's look out for each other (as they should). The outer spots are pretty much parking spots in full sun. The inner/shaded ones are very tied and small, mostly for the minimalist clientele, the rock climber. You can fit a van in some, or if you very gifted a small trailer. The places has great vibes to it, lot's of young people loving what they do :) With Cannabis Shops near by (nothing wrong with it (!!) but if you don't enjoy the smell..... Even if I would have found a spot, I probably would have felt out of place. I will go back tomorrow to visit and try to spot some climbers on the sheer walls. Super impressive!!!!!

Older place, showers are pretty "public park " bad(!) Wifi sucks. But...traveling in 105f all day I needed AC to get a good night rest, otherwise I would have tried the dry camping at the entrance of the area. You hear the trains go by in distance but not enough that it is bothersome.

I do not understand how this place got 4Stars. Seriously. I don't wanna be mean or such! 90% are long-timer (which is not the/a problem!!). Only the front spaces(at entrance) are spots for overnighter. Train Tracks right across street - next door an ARCO Gas Station, were you probably can stay for free.... When I arrived the office was closed even it stated "Open at 2pm" - Electricity did not work on neither station I was close to. The hook ups look old/dirty( wires sticking out, duct tapped) - faucet handle broken off. I waited until 3pm, by then I left 2 msg's to call me. Nope....nothing. I inspected the showers, what to say, actually they are so bad it's funny. Out of 3 showers only 1 had a proper faucet fixture. The other 2 looked like half way ripped out.The shower curtain are a thin sheet of plastic, probably a $1 at the Dollar store. Don 't get me wrong, I am a rustic camper, but for $40 a NT I expect the basics to work. In summer is must be sweltering hot, and the dust from the street & field...oh my. Will surely not be back. I truly don't see how this got 4 stars..... Oh, Verizon only 2 bars - WIFI = SlowMo... I moved on, I rather would stay at the nearby (nice) rest stop, which I didn't I found a nice place just 30 mil. south.

Wide open paved lot, tent camping along the curbs. Good overnighter. Train goes by, but does not blow horn, so not to bothersome. 1-2 max a day/night in Sep. Flies come seasonal and in Sep there were a lot.

The spacing could have been done better, there is enough room ....Lots of returning snowbirds who seem to all know each other. Most stay 2-3 month. All very friendly, but I am not there yet :) Would do an overnighter for sure again, mostly quiet if not for jetskier or ATVer off the property boundaries. Showers were very run down and some disgusting discoloration. But staff super nice, and maintenance guy on site.

Good for a stopover, would not spend more time here. Lot's of highway noise, which is expected since it's just/next of 82 bridge. Spaced out okay. Easy to back in. Wifi pretty good! But a few other things to mention: 1.You need a really(!) long sewage hose - the set up is beyond me :/ 2. The showers are free but old and don't want to spend a lot of time in.
Other than that, grounds are keep clean, nice green grass area's - Nice swimming beach and boating area to walk the dog (don't walk off path, nasty thorny weed!!)
