LOVE love love this place! No gate to check in, just drive in and find a spot that looks good to you! There are picnic table and trash cans scattered around the park, as well as fire pits. We parked the rig in a paved lot when first pulling in and scouted with the Jeep jic. The park is wide open but the paved road is a bit narrow the further into the park you go. This section is a big loop and easy to maneuver with any size rig. Fishing is awesome here but the bugs are bad.. To be expected on a lake. Just be prepared. No one else was here and we had it all to ourselves! Dark and quiet! PS... It's FREE!!

Hubby and I stay here for the WSOP tournaments at the casino. It is convenient and they have a shuttle service from your site to the casino door which is wonderful! Their bathrooms are like a spa and laundry is decent. $1.75 regular washers, $1.50 dryers.
I'm very disappointed for the price at the park maintenance. This is our second time staying here and both times there have been cigar and cigarette butts left in the grills and dog poo on the grass near our hookups. Also, they have not come and picked up our trash in over 4 days and both cans were full. When they did pick up the trash, they only took the top bags and left bags in the bottom of the cans.
We will stay here again but wish they would get it together!

Found this campground on Passport America. Only about 20 or so sites, mostly mobile homes and residents. Spot was a pull thru with full hook ups, cable TV and Wifi. Only stayed 1 night to visit Magnolia Farm. Was about a 35-40 minute drive to town but love the country back roads. Not bad for a place to park for a night.

This campground is off the beaten path and is an older campground in despair. VERY narrow and winding road to get up into the campground with steep hills. We made it in with our 34' class A towing our Jeep just before dark. Extremely dark at night with only a few lights on poles inside the campground. From the street you would miss it if you blinked. I believe it would be a great campground in the summer if you like rustic, woodsy, mountainous campgrounds.
The bathrooms were.. well....need to be replaced, and I hope you have your tetanus shot up to date if you plan on using their laundry. Luckily we have everything we need in our rig and just wanted water, electric and sewer. The price was right and was close to town and amenities.
