Check-in took forever because the office was locked during operating hours. The manager was to busy playing pool to be bothered. There is no gameroom or arcade. The washrooms near the office were always locked. The small cabins are a joke and smell horrible. Couldn't sleep in the bed until I took the linens and washed them myself because we seen small bugs on the sheets when we pulled the blankets down. Had to use a broom to clear out cob webs. It would be nice if the manager didn't stay in what was supposed to be the gameroom and shot pool and drink with friends. I don't recommend this place to anyone who is wanting good customer service. You definitely will not get this here. Make sure you ask about all the amenities also.
This campground is off the beaten path and is an older campground in despair. VERY narrow and winding road to get up into the campground with steep hills. We made it in with our 34' class A towing our Jeep just before dark. Extremely dark at night with only a few lights on poles inside the campground. From the street you would miss it if you blinked. I believe it would be a great campground in the summer if you like rustic, woodsy, mountainous campgrounds.
The bathrooms were.. well....need to be replaced, and I hope you have your tetanus shot up to date if you plan on using their laundry. Luckily we have everything we need in our rig and just wanted water, electric and sewer. The price was right and was close to town and amenities.

The price wasn't bad for a holiday weekend, but they do get you in extra charges. There were only 2 adults and we paid a $30 fee for extra adult charges. We also paid an extra $30 for our 2 kids plus an extra $12 for our 2 dogs. They added Wifi and cable charges as well. We didn't use either. When all was said and done it came to a little over $75 per night. We didn't use any of the facilities. They do have a pool, but we didn't use it. We would stay here again as a last resort. The staff was very friendly as were the campers. Sites were pretty small and when we drained our black water, the site next to us flooded. We got lucky and the 2 sites on the door side of our camper were empty so we had a lot of space, but if those sites had been occupied, we probably would not have enjoyed it as much.

When we arrived we had to go looking for staff. We had a campsite for our camper and a cabin for our elderly parents. We found the maintenance man who was very helpful, but didn’t seem to really know anything about the cabin nor did we get any information about the campground until later when we found a staff member walking around. The cabin was clean however they didn’t have the key. Overall I wouldn’t stay again. The campground has a lot through trafficking from locals.
Everything else was booked and we ended up here. The website looks clean and spacious. The reality was not even close. It is weird, dirty and very crowded. LOTS of permanent trailers.
Thanks, will not go. Sound so bad
We decided to try something new so we figured we would try this place. We paid for a "standard cabin" it was no cabin it was a shed ! We went to the manager Cindy and asked if there was any way we could get a "deluxe" cabin for the night and she was super sweet and worked with us. The cabin was cute and was perfect for the two of us and our little dog. If you plan on going with a group of people the cabins will not work. We decided to keep the kids at home and get away for a relaxing weekend and there isn't any way all 4 of us could of fit ! The stove didn't even work when we tired to cook breakfast I mean over all it wasn't that bad it was quiet and peaceful but don't plan on staying when its cold their is no heat and I got a little cold !
