The folks that work here are extremely pleasant. We needed a place to park our toy hauler and stay while we renovated our home in Dallas. At first, we were a bit bummed due to our site 37 is the narrowest pull-through in the park. That was the worst thing about the resort, though! Highly recommend this place. Our grown kids and parents came for Thanksgiving and the cabins they stayed in are really nice, too. There is a lot of pretty acreage to walk and hike. There are two pools. Most of the sites are very long, very level and they have many pull-throughs. The Wi-Fi was pretty good, too. We had decent cellular service, too.

Spent a few days in April 2019 here. Section E and D1 were recently releveled and repaved. We were in section E and were indeed level. The other sections looked like they are in need of leveling and paving. We had a beautiful and magical site backed up to the lake. Our site 4 was huge! All sites appear to be well-spaced. Tall pine trees with lovely song birds singing. Quiet campground. Two bald eagles perch on a dead pine tree near the camp entrance frequently. They do not allow motorcycles, scooters or similar motorized small vehicles except golf carts. Adjacent to a few boat ramps. Campground appears to part of a planned golf course residential community. You need to be a member of Passport America or Coast to Coast.
