Super solid spot on the lake/reservoir. Good cell service (+Starlink visibility). Unclear what previous reviews meant about 3 loops given there are maybe 15-20 spots total (if you double/triple up with others).
Rangers are frequent and will ticket for unoccupied or over staying here. Winds coming off the lake can be fierce yet calm days are fantastic. Don’t trust weather forecasts as it comes in from the opposite side of the water.
As a solo female, I felt primarily safe, with an eye on locals who can feel a bit territorial and will claim their space for days without occupation. I felt lucky to snag a spot and saw very little availability, even during the week.

Camped about a mile in; arrived on a Tuesday. Felt safe, even with moderate traffic throughout my stay. Fairly easy to drive the road and found a pull-through site for my 25 (27ft) Airstream. Super private with some noise over Memorial Day weekend - nothing to be concerned about. A few washboards and some delightful pinstripes from the shrubs but solid service on both Verizon and ATT.

Don’t expect a fancy RV Resort. Expect a mobile home park with RV spaces. Fairly run down but felt safe and super friendly. FedEx and UPS deliveries but not usps.
I expected to stay a week and ended up staying 3 months over winter. Price, proximity to Yuma, friendly neighbors, and safety kept me there. Cons are train noise and trucks from nearby agricultural work.
As of winter 2022 $375/month + electric.

I can see the appeal as it was a fine overall stay. Not stellar, not poor. Just…ok.
Pros: friendly desk staff, improvements being made (domes), free showers and laundry. Well stocked store and boats for rent are also good amenities.
Cons: No cell service (Starlink worked), female bathroom doors were clearly installed by men and too high by 6 inches. Weekends are busy and not a lot of monitoring of park rules (dogs off leash, noise before/after hours), and drove on by when neighbors were clearly using my site.
As a full-timer, I wouldn’t necessarily call this a destination spot, but wouldn’t rule out a short stay again in the future. Gated fence and friendly staff made it worth it.

I came on a Thursday (holiday weekend - Easter?) and found it very difficult to find a spot. Lots of campers were circling around trying to find a place. I parked for the night in a spot that probably wasn't meant for camping as after 45 minutes hunting I was done. It sure is beautiful, but I think I'd rather stay at Tuttle Creek for $5/night and drive to the hikes in the area. I'd definitely try again in the off season!
Very, very little Verizon service (1 bar), depending which part of my camper I was in.

After having stayed in Alabama Hills for a busy night, I opted to pay $5 for better cell service, fewer drive-bys, and incredible vault toilets. This did not disappoint! I was able to still have great views and a very, very quiet stay while being close enough to town to grab the basics.
Lots of speed bumps to slow "traffic". I'd honestly be super comfy staying here for a month!
I stayed at a pull through site (5) and wish I would've gone further (21) to not have to wrangle with leveling
