Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 26, 2021I can see the appeal as it was a fine overall stay. Not stellar, not poor. Just…ok.
Pros: friendly desk staff, improvements being made (domes), free showers and laundry. Well stocked store and boats for rent are also good amenities.
Cons: No cell service (Starlink worked), female bathroom doors were clearly installed by men and too high by 6 inches. Weekends are busy and not a lot of monitoring of park rules (dogs off leash, noise before/after hours), and drove on by when neighbors were clearly using my site.
As a full-timer, I wouldn’t necessarily call this a destination spot, but wouldn’t rule out a short stay again in the future. Gated fence and friendly staff made it worth it.

I am always hesitant to leave a review with anything other than positive words, but this place kind of needs some. Pulled up during business hours, the store was closed and the gate was down. I called the number on the door and someone finally answered and said he would send someone up. He seemed less than pleased, so I’m not sure what I was interrupting. Sweet gal checked us in. There looked to be only one other camper and then the hosts. The grounds were very different from the pics on their site. Everything was overgrown and brown. We had a lakeside spot, which was an absolutely GORGEOUS view! We were told that the lake was ‘closed’ so we didn’t have any access to the row boats or kayaks. After we settled in, I went to take a shower. Think run down jr. high locker room showers circa 1992. They weren’t just run down, they were down right dirty. If you come here, I recommend using your rigs shower. The WiFi was spotty. Phone service was super spotty so be aware of that.

Very clean with new friendly management. We had extra gusts and the staff was accommodative without charging any extras for tent. Affordable kayak to rent for the day,

We have been to the Blue Lake Resort during June 2021. The location is awesome, quiet and peaceful for a relaxing vacation. The breeze is welcoming & gentle enough to get fresh air. Very friendly staff, good walking, can get out onto calm rides on water, get some fresh water swimming, catch good fish. Newly added Domes and Glamping sites are nice and they are more attractive
We stayed in newly renovated cabin. Very clean with new management upgraded everything they can think of. Cabin has all the amenities including full kitchen. The location is awesome, quiet and peaceful for a relaxing vacation. New Management renovated the entire resort including RV, Camping spots, Cabins and especially bathrooms. All the amentias water/electric, showers, kayak and motor boats rental are included in rental price. So no surprises at the end. It's a must visit stay place for camping/glamping and dome experience
