This is a great place if you have kids and like the RV resort lifestyle if you do not there are so many better choices in the area. The site we reserved after I got the trailer leveled out and set up I went to hook up the grey and black tank hose and the KOA pipe was literary 6 inches higher then the hook up on my trailer and sh*t does not go up hill. In this camping trip I stayed at 8 campgrounds KOA was the biggest disappointment and the most expensive.

For our purpose this site was perfect we were just stopping for the night and needed something close to the highway and our site was level enough to where we did not have to unhook the trailer. I would not recommend it for much more it is surrounded by cornfield with not much to do.

Best part of this park was the location to Theodore Roosevelt National park. The sites were on top of each other with black hoses set up to were when the got out of your trailer your neighbors black hose hook up was pretty much on your site. This is the first site where I am going to complain about dogs Theodore Roosevelt National park is not a dog friendly park dogs are not allowed out of your car in the national park so many people while I was there left their dogs in the trailers including our neighbors every time we walked around we had dogs barking thru trailer windows at us and dogs were barking everywhere. I am sure most day dogs are not a problem but while I was there it was

It’s a nice campground and great if you have a Kayak or boat but besides that there is not much to see or do. No beach or walking trails

Nothing fancy here but by far the best campsite I stayed at during my vacation that I used 8 different campgrounds. My site was clean spacious and fit my Rockwood 2109S camper perfect. There are 3 very nice hiking trails nearby, Its a few miles down a dirt road I wish I had stayed a couple of more days There is no water or electric but the site and location more then made up for it. We had no Verizon cell phone coverage but for us that was not a problem.
