Very busy campsite 400 sites and your right next to each other, great if your group camping like many were but not our style. It is a great location and walkable to downtown and pier. If you have large family with lots of kids this is your place. We love all the great amenities and clean areas but a lot of people piled in one spot but also that is California beach living

We arrived late no reservations we were offered there overflow that sits right on River electric only for $24 per night. We were visiting relatives in area for 3 days so we would leave early in morning and come back at night we needed no frills just a place to sleep and reasonable clean restrooms with shower and this worked. We have a class B van so we are very mobile would do it again

Park is clean, dirt roads make it dusty, sites are mostly dirt and not level, no landscaping. The shower was decent and clean. I’m sorry but what your getting for full hook-ups at $85.00 this is not that park. The best thing is the camp host Bill, walked the area and personally introduced himself to each campsite and instead of blurting a bunch of rules he asked everyone if they needed anything he was there to help, now that’s a real welcome host!

What did state workers do since covid, this park is unkept, weeds a foot high, lack of care in restrooms, although they were clean walls and fixtures needed a lot of care. We had just came back from traveling the gulf states and bathrooms and grounds were very clean and landscaped, these were states (Texas and Florida) with no state taxes. We live in California with one of the highest state taxes and let me tell you we’re not getting what we pay for.
