Nice well established koa. Not the closest koa to the canyon but nicer than the closer one and near the train in Williams so that’s cool. Indoor pool, race cars, bounce pillow, etc.

Sites were pie shaped, narrow, and most not very level. Almost wasn’t able to get my travel trailer (39’) to make the turn the guide in the golf cart wanted me to make to get in… had to back into a pull through site because the space between trees was too narrow.

Clean and effective laundry room, reasonably priced.

Wifi only available near camp store and it was rubbish. Verizon service was awful. T-Mobile was pretty good though. I worked all week on the T-Mobile connection.

All gravel. Tiny concrete pad for picnic table. A wee grass patch is only for “premium” sites and that’s laughable. Nasty restrooms and showers. Two small pools, un helpful staff. Would not stay here again.

Large campground with broad selection of open or wooded spaces, super nice lodge, nice pool, clean and quiet. Putt putt course was old and Unmaintained but they were working on the buildings nearby and the other pool nearby so maybe that’s in progress.

Probably the nicest campsites of any thousand trails we have ever stayed at.

Small but functional and clean laundry room.

It’s a solid hour from north Dallas suburbs. Further to downtown.

This isn’t a resort. It’s just a standard campground. Website says 10 sites. It’s expanded to 13 or 14 full hookups now. All flat, level, wide, and neatly kept. Doesn’t look like much but the gentleman and lady that are the camp hosts and run the office are super super nice. Plus, they loan you all the tools and expertise you want to do the diamond mining down the road. You’re like 1 mile from the state park.

The only thing that disappointed at all was that the wifi at the campground went in/out about every 2 minutes. So it was functionally unusable.

There’s a huge cell tower you can see about 50 yards down the road and I had 4 bars of Verizon LTE, but something weird caused there to be no connection anyway. So… I had to work from the restaurant up the road. If his is you too, no worries. It’s 0.8 miles away and called Southern Dine. 80-100mb speed there, cheap and delicious food, and super nice staff. I drank my body weight in free refil coffee.

There’s real green grass in the lower section! But it’s a real challenge to get in and out. Access roads are awful. Full hookup in upper section only. Restrooms and showers are hot and dumpy, but reasonably clean. Access to them requires a $10 cash deposit for a key. Laundry is present on site but we didn’t use it.

Note.. there are numerous homeless people living out of their cars or in the woods on the access road between the marina/RV park and the Yacht club.

Also… it’s still a solid hour to get to downtown or southern Sacramento from here due to traffic so don’t let the map “as the crow flies” proximity fool you.

Paved sites, red dirt between each. Not wide, but pretty long. Right off I-40 with a Loves next door. Nice rec hall. Clean, well maintained. Cheap nightly rate and friendly staff.

Large pull through sites but tons of permanent campers. About 80%. Golf carts abound on tiny single lane roads. Three pools but all very small and plain and not lighted in evenings. Water slides not connected to any of the pool complexes. Nice bath and shower houses. Nice walking or biking trails around the lake. Absolutely no cell reception. Had to drive 30 mins daily to Dixon to work. Not even the expensive signal boosters my neighbor bought make much difference. Definitely cannot work remotely from here if you have any bandwidth requirements at all. Or need to make phone calls.

Tolerable TT campground. Very small sites, limited full hookup. No pool, lake water is nasty. Small bathroom/shower facility in full hookup section. Fair quality. Full hookup sites mixed in with cabins. Clientele was rather rough. Nice open field with soccer goals and basketball court, but on the opposite side of the lake from the full hookup section. Camp store is very limited. The “restaurant” on site is open but the word restaurant envisions something far more substantial and developed than what’s there.
