Great place to launch a diamond hunt at the state park. The host gives a class in the morning on how to hunt diamonds, lots of useful info and history. They also have all the tools you need, shovel, screens, etc. Nice showers, laundry, sites are level and gravel, all the hookups worked well. Dog friendly. Nothing negative to say, would come back again.

Access to the park and signage is good. The RV Park is on the way to Craters of Diamonds State Park so you can just follow their signs as well. The interior roads are a sparse bit of grave on a dirt path.
The park office is right at the entrance. Right next door is the Laundry ($2.00 for wash and $1.50 for dry) and two unisex bathrooms. The office is not always open but a phone number is given if you need service. The Laundry area is always open. The washrooms are quite utilitarian but clean. Very welcome after a day of digging for diamonds.
Our site, 01, was a back in and it consisted of a gravel pad with mowed grass. The utilities, power, water and sewer were to the left rear. We backed on to the road way but there is very little traffic that passes by so it did not bother us.
The internet was adequate as long as you didn’t want to do any streaming. OTA TV was nil. Satellite would work well.
This is a small park. There were a few long term guests (as in here for longer than a few days) belonging to serious miners but all were clean and well kept.
On site are facilities for screening gravel brought from the diamond fields that you can sift at your leisure. Sarah, the camp host, will also show how and where to search the field as well as lend you the tools needed at no charge.
We paid $30.00 per night and feel we received very good value for our dollar. This park is not a resort by any means. It is a pleasant place to stay while searching for diamonds or an overnight stop. We would return if in the area. Just an FYI The State park is $36.00. Will not lend you tools nor anywhere near as friendly.

This isn’t a resort. It’s just a standard campground. Website says 10 sites. It’s expanded to 13 or 14 full hookups now. All flat, level, wide, and neatly kept. Doesn’t look like much but the gentleman and lady that are the camp hosts and run the office are super super nice. Plus, they loan you all the tools and expertise you want to do the diamond mining down the road. You’re like 1 mile from the state park.
The only thing that disappointed at all was that the wifi at the campground went in/out about every 2 minutes. So it was functionally unusable.
There’s a huge cell tower you can see about 50 yards down the road and I had 4 bars of Verizon LTE, but something weird caused there to be no connection anyway. So… I had to work from the restaurant up the road. If his is you too, no worries. It’s 0.8 miles away and called Southern Dine. 80-100mb speed there, cheap and delicious food, and super nice staff. I drank my body weight in free refil coffee.

Stayed here while visiting Crater Diamond State Park. Stay 2 nights and you can use the parks diamond digging tools (you have to bring your own gloves). The sites are level, utilities are conveniently located.
Almost no TMobile service (we randomly received one bar every now and then but and text would come in, but no streaming). The park has Wifi, and we were able to watch YouTube, but don't count on super high speed. It also had to be restarted by the owners in the office.
The owners of the park is a family, and they stay on site. Super nice folks, clean park. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

We arrived late at night to Murfreesboro. Since it was after hours, we pulled up to the office and grabbed our paper for late arrivals. We backed up into our site and set up. The next morning, we checked in with the lady in the office, paid for our site and was told to come by whenever we wanted a demonstration of how to use the diamond mining equipment.
The equipment is free to use, just have to make sure it stays in good condition and no one else takes it while you’re mining.
We had no problem with the utilities and the campground was rather quiet except for a few cars that would pass by along the road.
When we left, she came out to meet us and waved goodbye. Good southern hospitality!
Starlink gave us 129 down and 13 up. We had 5 bars on the Verizon phones (105/49) and 5 bars with the cell antenna (73/35). AT&T was 4 bars with the cell antenna (25/21). The Wifi was unusable due to a constantly dropping connection, but we did receive 5 bars.

Small but nice campground near Crater of Diamonds State Park. Located in a cute little town. Wish i could have stayed longer to enjoy the area. Only downside is its right along the road to the state park so there is some road noise but while we were there the traffic was minimal.
We were fortunate to find this park. Well tended, comfortable, -and the staff are friendly, very personable and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.
Great people. Al and Alberta are the managers of this RV park and they are diamond hunters. More importantly they find them. They give classes and help people tune their skills in finding diamonds. I recommend this RV park as it's quiet and has nice people. I plan on staying here for a year.
