This is a basic, no frills campground. We reserved over the phone and then paid once we got there. Credit card is accepted. The manager came off cold as first, but seems to be a decent guy.

The sites are wooded and not on top of eachother, although you can see the people next to you. Site was level and had woodchips down. Site had full hookups (electric, water, sewer), fire pit, and picnic table. Firewood is available there and is very dry and seasoned, best firewood I’ve ever used actually.

There is WiFi although we didn’t use it because I never figured out what the password was.

No complaints, but it is a pretty basic campground. Will return.

Most sites are not wooded but it still does not seem like you are right on top of eachother. Sites are paved asphalt. Distance to water hookups vary, BRING A LONG HOSE IN CASE. Electric is right at all the sites. Bathrooms are clean with a lot of stalls and showers. Dishwashing sink on the side of the bathroom. Dogs are allowed at the campground but not allowed on the beach. You can still walk them on the canal. Breeze is always nice. Only reason for the 4 stars is how expensive it is / misleading rates. It’s “$22 a night” for MA residents but that’s before the $4 water and $6 electric fees, along with a $2 trust fund fee. So it’s really $34 a night.
