Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on October 08, 2023Wolfeboro Campground, 61 Haines Hill Road, Wolfeboro, NH is located a short distance from Lake Winnipesaukee. It has a total of 50 sites, divided between RV sites and tent sites.
This was our first time here. We had called ahead to make reservations prior to our trip. Upon arrival we were met by the owner who checked us in. Check in went smoothly. Credit card is accepted at check-in but not for making phone reservations in advance.
The campground is like we remember them from our youth. Quiet, shaded and relaxing with trees separating the sites. There is no swimming pool or arcade room but there is a nice field to play catch in.
The RV sites have water, sewer and electric hookup, 30-amp or 50-amp. In addition, there is a fireplace and picnic table.
The tents sites are in a different section of the campground from the RV sites. They are also shaded, with fireplace and picnic table and some have water and electric.
The restrooms/showers were clean. The showers cost $.25 for 6 minutes and they have good pressure and plenty of hot water.
The campground has a small store where RV supplies, firewood, propane and basic condiments are available for purchase.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here based on the previous reviewers comments, and are so happy we did. Great location and so quiet! Bathrooms aren't fancy, but clean. Showers are 5 minutes for a quarter. We were here at the end of September, so not too many staying here. Our next door neighbors have been coming here for the summer from FL for 30 years.Wolfeboro is a cute little town, and the Wright World War II Museum is worth a visit. Don't miss Castle in the Clouds, just down the road. Would definitely recommend this place, and would come again. Good WiFi.

Wolfeboro is truly THE gem of Lake Winnipesaukee! Great little town center. If you don’t care about any amenities that campgrounds usually offer, then this is the campground for you! Sites are spacious and private, lots of trees between sites! This campground was so quiet and relaxing. It’s doesn’t have a water feature but it does come with a parking pass to the lake beaches in the area. Privately owned and the owner, Warren, definitely keeps an eye on the goings on without intruding on your privacy. Our site had full hookup and WiFi was good. We can’t rate the comfort station since it was closed due to CIVID 19. We will definitely be coming back to this campground!

This is a basic, no frills campground. We reserved over the phone and then paid once we got there. Credit card is accepted. The manager came off cold as first, but seems to be a decent guy.
The sites are wooded and not on top of eachother, although you can see the people next to you. Site was level and had woodchips down. Site had full hookups (electric, water, sewer), fire pit, and picnic table. Firewood is available there and is very dry and seasoned, best firewood I’ve ever used actually.
There is WiFi although we didn’t use it because I never figured out what the password was.
No complaints, but it is a pretty basic campground. Will return.

Sites are large, wooded, level and have full hookups. It was quiet and peaceful. I spoke to someone who was starting to close up her seasonal site who said she had been coming to this campground for 40 years. I can see why. It is a great location to use as a base camp while exploring the area. I never tried the bath house or Wi-Fi. Verizon had about 2 bars and my T-Mobile Wi-Fi tower had full strength.
