Site 079 had an amazing view. The two spots on either side were also good ones. The other area where RVs were looked to be more of an RV Village. The only downside to this site is the tight squeeze getting in and you will need to raise the passenger side wheels up about 5” to level. Well worth the view though.

This is a great State Park Campground. We were electric only, but they have an easy to use dump station and fresh water fill. Sites are all cement pad pull through in our area. Lots of trails leading off the sites and every area had a playground. Good spacing between sites. Our rate was actually $36.00 but you have to pay upon check in a $10 a day parking fee so it was really $46 for electric only. I would not stay here if you did not need to go into Denver or Red Rocks. You will find better outdoor activities and lakes away from this area.

This was a wonderful State Park. New or like new electric pedestal, and the H2O and Sewer cap were all in a great spot. Paved and level pad. No need to break our Anderson Blocks. Great lawn area in the middle of the sites in the Bay loop (and the others I believe). Nice fish cleaning station and rest room & shower facilities. There was a great hike to the top of Steamboat Rock with the trail head across the road. We stayed in late March. This is Eastern Washington so not much shade. I would recommend this for early spring and Fall but could be a bit hot without shade in the Summer.

We love National Forest Campsites. This was awesome. It is impossible to find in the dark though as there was no signage when we came.
