If you can stay at the State Park across the street. It’s much nicer at half the price. Arrived an hour before check in and was told to go wait across the street. At check in time you get to wait in a long line to check in. We have stayed at a lot of KOAs but won’t be back to this one.

The permanents are at least 75%. Their sites are cluttered and some trashy. The bar and grill is all locals. We had a waterfront site of backwater sludge. Which we were hoping for a tranquil view of the Mississippi but site S28 is in front of the residence docks not quiet on a Saturday afternoon. And don’t worry about giving blood after your stay the mosquitoes take at least a pint.
