This is pretty new. We were in site #44, didn’t have a picnic table or fire ring like those on the inside of the loop. Was told the drive thru’s had priority and eventually they may get tables and fire rings for the back in sites. Everything has small gravel, flat surfaces so easy to park and stay level. Very convenient to bike trail (adjacent to property) and to the boat ramp for kayaks and SUPs. Full hookups, new laundry area, nice dog park. There’s also a very large dog park just a short walk near Las Colonias Park. Edgewater Brewery is close enough to walk or bike to. Downtown is also close with some great restaurants. Lunch Loops mtn bike trails are an easy bike ride away on the paved bike trail. It’s also an easy drive or bike ride to Palisade for fun wine tasting. Love this area and this new campground makes it easy to enjoy all that the Western Slope has to offer.

We stayed for 3 nights, site 122, right on the water. It was cold but great mountain biking weather, so we planned to do the local trails and stay here. Staff is super friendly. Sites are nice with grass and enough room for some privacy between them. Was slow season in November so not crowded and pleasant. They have two dog parks and trails by the frisbee golf area to walk your dog too. They pick up garbage daily and will pick up propane tanks to fill as well. Sites are paved and level. Each area has their own bathrooms and laundry. They have a zip line and pool but we’re closed due to being end of season. Will come back in spring or early fall since my son will be in Little Rock next year for some training. Looking forward to mountain biking more here and enjoying more of the spas. Town is cute.

Spent 4 nites here, first time in Banff. Nice park but never experienced shared sites before. They were ok, really no issues. Other sites were clearly visible and close just as well so we were all friendly. 😜 great access to hiking and biking trails from campground. Clean bathrooms. Lots of elk and ground squirrels near sites so keep your food protected. Overall, really enjoyed it because of its location and full hook ups. Total cost for 5 nites was C$215. We paid for 5 nights but stayed for 4 because we wanted to check out Golden. We had to be back home by a certain day so we cut Banff short. But definitely will return.

We only spent one night here on way to Banff. They had full hookups along the river but since we were only there one night, decided on site 15 closer to the bathrooms and exit. It was easy to back into. We had water and electricity. There were a couple trees for shade. There must have been a farm nearby, first it smelled like horses, then it smelled like cows. We checked out the river, perfect to sit your chair in and cool off with a drink. Met some really nice fellow campers. The town itself was small but quaint. They had a street market that night, but we enjoyed hanging out at the river with fellow campers so much we didn’t end up going. There is a dumps station, extra C$7.50. Cost for the night was about C$45.00.

Easy check in and spacious sites. We should have kept our initial waterfront site, but wanted full hook up so took a different one close to entrance and restrooms. Wasn't bad, but after we walked to the river, the water front sites were pretty sweet. River was fairly shallow but nice to sit in to cool off. We met some great folks at the river and hung out with them most of the evening. Bathrooms were clean and sites were level. Would definitely stay again when heading to Banff from border. Close to town also.

Loved this little resort that felt like being at an older resort back in the day. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Our site was at the end on the water. Bushes between site and water but could still get gorgeous views of the sunset over Glacier National Park. Close to the park, can ride your bike on the bike paths from campground. We had a little boat ramp next to us, was perfect for launching our paddle boards. Loved hanging out on the lake on the hot days we experienced in July. Only negative was that the water and electricity were on the wrong side of our camper. Ended up having our front door facing the backside of a huge rig. Sites are very close together but we had more space on the back side of our travel trailer because we were the last site on the water. Host offered extension hoses and cords for us. Also because we had more room than other sites, he said we could pull in the opposite way and park on the grass. Next time we'll do that. Be aware, when it rains, little gnats surround you and somehow find their way into a camper. Once it stopped raining and dried out, no more gnats. Definitely a place we'd love to come back to and spend more time at.

Great location to be able to walk around town. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Sites were quite close to each other, reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. But overall was a nice quiet place to spend the night and enjoy the town.

Overall nice campground. Electric only. Easy bike ride to Morman Rd and the barns. River was nearby, but a hike through tall weeds and prickly bushes. We stayed in late July 2022.

Beautiful location, easy walks to water and other hiking trails. Sites are spacious but very close together. Easy to get around on bikes, great laundry facilities and store with tasty ice cream. Very relaxing overall and really enjoyed it here.

We thought this might be a good quick stop to stretch our legs but it was a dirt road to no where. There were dogs in cages and a locked fence at the sight. Needless to say, we did not stop and just drove on to Dumas to get back on the highway. Don’t waste your time here.
