Easy in & out

Wifi was good for the first 6 days, could stream videos & conference calls... then began to get flaky. People are nice. There is a hot spring & community marsh behind the property with ponds of little pupfish and small walking trails. Nice to have in the middle of the desert. Have to go to Pahrump 27 miles away for groceries & cell service. Mountain views and quiet. Full hookups. bathrooms are clean. There is also a natural spring pool 89 degrees for swimming.

Old and grounds not well maintained. Staff was really friendly. Sites super narrow, only a few feet between them, not enough room to sit comfortably outside or have a fire. Roads full of potholes.

Good location for visiting mammoth cave, but not much else. Would not stay here again or buy a Thousand trails membership based on this place.

Wifi costs extra, $24.99 for 7 days

many sites/ "cottages" are people permanently parked with their area not kept up.

Did not use the rec center, pool, or bathhouse. The place was fine if you are just being a tourist in the area and don't need to spend much time there. It's nothing special.

the staff however, Penny, was really good. Let us pick our site and found our lost set of keys and promised to mail them to us!

Verizon service was unusable even with a weboost. AT&T was also weak.

Had the place to ourselves during the week. Lots of deer and wild turkeys to watch near our site. A few nice trails. Small market Store in town is the only place for groceries and they keep small town business hours. The folks at the post office were super nice. There is farmland all around and the closest Walmart is an hour away. Att cell signal was good enough for working with a we boost and there is a WiFi access point near the restrooms. We were there October 2018. There was some algae issue in the lake and swimming not recommended. People were boating and fishing though.

Site B at the front is the biggest site. Wifi was good. Some traffic noise. Clean bathhouse. Washer/dryer in the bathroom was relatively cheap. Sites were pea gravel and pretty level. Good for the price & proximity to the falls. We were there in October 2019, very quiet.

Gorgeous fall leaves. Arrived on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Sites feel small when park is full. Emptied out on Monday. Nice quiet week. Bathrooms clean. WiFi pretty worthless, constantly dropping if it would even connect. Could not even check email. ATT hotspot also constantly dropping even with 3-4 bars. Verizon was ok. Manchester and Dorset are nice towns. Plan to return. Just plan a truck route into the green mountains that takes low bridges into account.

Beautiful campground, well kept with nice pool and ocean view. Lobster bake on Saturday night weather permitting. WiFi costs extra and is very fast. Some sites are narrow. Curbside trash pickup, cute office with Great staff!

got like 1 intermittent AT&T bar of service with a weboost. Verizon was better. Beautiful park, nice and quiet during the week.

Nice hiking trails & rock formations.

Long drive to get there, and not much shopping nearby, plant to be remote and grocery shop in advance.

Showers were old and water not hot enough.

Most sites are not level.

Lovely view of Lake Mead, new facilities. Dry camping only. No showers on site. Very pretty and clean, level sites, and convenient to town and Hoover Dam. Liked it so well we are staying the max length of stay allowed. Good cellular data coverage for ATT & Verizon. We work full time so very important!

Clean park with paved level sites. Laundry room is a good deal at 1.50 for a washer. Also have propane fills on site. The park next door has better landscaping but no hookups. WiFi for more than 1 device costs extra. Get a site with a lake view because the rest of the park isn’t much to look at.
