A really nice, big, clean RV park with the most amazing view at Lake Mead. I think most spaces......if not all.......have lake view. They have an inner ring and an outer ring, but the inner Ring is higher than the outer ring. concrete for your RV and in-between the RV spaces nice brown gravel with an iron fire pit and a table/bench set.
Real good WIFI, very clean restrooms with washing machines and dryer. They even are Meeting Point for the Colorado river rafting tour, so easy to get to the tour.
The most amazing view over Lake Mead.....and it looks different every hour of the day. It is located in a State Park, they sell some sodas, coffee, toilet paper and such at the office, but if you need to fill up your fridge you should do so before or you have to drive the short 4 miles to Boulder City!!!!
At the entrance, they even have a pump to fill up the RV propane tanks!!! REally profesional and friendly staff!!!
I stayed 3 days and was kind of sad I had to leave, I will definitely be back there soon!!!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! The park is very clean! The sites are long but just wide enough for your slides. The sites are staggered, so you're not looking into each other's windows, however, if someone pulls up and parks a large pontoon boat behind their camper... You may get a partial view if nobody pulls up beside you. It appears that the even numbered sites in the 900's have the better view. It's a short drive to the marina which has a cafe that's open until 10:00 pm. Also, the road leading to the park is a toll road or National Park Entrance. The fee is $16 a day or $25 for 7. There is no fee if you have an Access Pass.

The full-hookup sites (including cable and so-so WiFi) offer level cement pads with a gravel yard surrounding it with a picnic table. The 'lake view' sites are indeed closer to Lake Mead, but the water level is so low that it doesn't make that much difference which site you choose - lake view or upper sites. There are lake views from almost every site we looked at.

The full-hookup side is very clean and VERY basic; no trees or landscaping of any kind. The other side features dry camping sites nestled among beautiful trees and landscaping, one might say almost forest-like. On the FHU side my 42.5' motorhome fit easily... I'm not sure there's that kind of space in the boondocking side.

Still, it's close enough to home that we can weekend it there pretty easily, which is really the only reason I'd go back and stay again.

Stopped here to charge the batteries and get some water after dry camping for a while. The woman in the office was brusk and perfunctory in our check in. She wasn't unpleasant but certainly wasn't warm and welcoming. The woman that offered to show us our site was very engaging, however. And we wished we had taken her up I the offer as getting into the site was a bit complicated. We drove down 11th to site 1104 and saw a bunch of 12xx sites. The sites are not well marked, but we puzzled it out. Hookups were well placed and we had a concrete patio and picnic table. Lots of cable stations, but they were all grainy. You can only have one wifi passcode per site, which turned out to be irrelevant as it never worked. Pulled out early in the morning.

As reviewed before, the lay out of the park is a bit complicated so have the host lead you to your site.

Gravel with concrete pads and picnic table. Fire rings are at front of sites because they are so narrow - probably the most narrow site we've stayed in. But because they are alternating direction pull-throughs you aren't side by side with your neighbor. They are good about not putting people side by side if there are other sites.

Lake front sites are far from water but views are unobstructed and full site is concrete. These sites are also much wider. Ask for a lake facing site higher up and you'll still have a great view without the additional cost.

Store closes at 5 pm so not convenient in the evening, staff are helpful and friendly. WiFi never did connect.

Great paved trail takes you up to visitors' center 1 mile away, then Railroad Trail to Hoover Dam.

We paid the weekly rate of $34/night ($38 with tax) for one of the lake view sites. Normally we're fine with the cheapest sites available, but the price difference was relatively small when renting weekly. The pull-in lake view sites face north-east which was a big help for us since it was 110+ degrees during our stay in June and this angle kept the sun off our big windshield for most of the day. The lake view sites are new and quite nice... wide, level, concrete, and with a gravel car parking area next to each site. The older part of the campground is all gravel, and with much smaller sites. Most of the park is filled with mobile homes that were vacant during our stay, though a few owners came out during the weekend. In general it's not a very attractive campground, but it served our need. It's a mile or so walk to the "special events beach" where dogs are allowed, but since it was so hot we drove our dog there each day (along a bumpy/rocky dirt road) instead of walking him. Just don't park too close to the water... there are many areas where the sand is really mud and you sink down quickly. The main beach area has a paved road and parking area but no dogs are allowed there. We did walk our dog daily through the heavily wooded adjacent no-hookup campground which was convenient given the intense heat/sun (the full hookup campground has no trees/shade). Boulder City is only a few miles away (up a 1,000+ foot hill) and has plenty of restaurants and stores. We got only 1 bar of AT&T LTE at our site but it was fast and reliable, and 3 bars of Verizon LTE which worked well (we didn't use our booster during our stay here). The campground WiFi didn't reach our site at the far end of the park. Tip: China Bistro in nearby Boulder City surprised us with how good their food was...

Place is fine for our purposes of seeing the Hoover Dam and Vegas strip. Needed the services and Easter weekend reservation, but otherwise would prefer to be next door at less developed campground. Staff was friendly and facilities are fine. Again, for us a place to park and sleep. For anyone wishing to camp, go next door if you can for more room and trees. If it is important to you, be sure to face the lake in hopes of a better view.

This campground is inside Lake Mead Recreational Area so you do have the park fee when entering. We did an after hours check-in. Packet with everything in it was at the door. Camp host quickle met us to provide wifi access and escort to our site.

We paid extra for the lake view. Sites were wide, concrete and could be back in or drive in. Picnic table as well. But warning---zero shade. It was 113 degrees and since we do not tow, we had to drive and left our RV in the Hoover Dam Parking all day-- our AC could not keep up when we hooked back up. Not the parks issue but if staying in summer--be aware.

There are full time mobile homes here and other sites were gravel and a bit more narrow.

Showers and laundry room were nice. Bathrooms seemed newer and amazing shower pressure. Bathrooms are keycard operated.

The beach is a good walk away so we drive down due to heat. Water was about 80 degrees. Very rocky so have water shoes. Views and sunset were amazing.

All and all we were very happy for this no frills campground. About 10 minute drive to Hoover Dam. The NP visitor center is there and a hike trail that comes out near Hoover Dam (if it is not 113 degrees).

They were upgrading their wifi when we were there from Tengo Internet to Access Parks (i think that was it). When we got on --service was great and enough bandwidth for us to work remote.

We booked a full month, the daily rate is a bit higher. We originally planned to stay here only 3 days, but the weather was too perfect to leave. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Grounds are relatively clean, but there are lots of cigarette butts and the dump trucks seem to leave a mess when collecting trash- hence the removal of one star. The bathrooms were fine, we didn’t use the showers. Laundry worked well, but was often crowded (not too bad, but I had to wait for a dryer a couple times). The view of Lake Mead is nice and the location of about 30-45 minuets from Las Vegas was convenient. There’s also a grocery store in Boulder City. This area has a lot to see- Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, Seven Magic Mountains, Hoover Dam, etc. WiFi worked well, but not strong enough for streaming. Verizon and ATT were fantastic with our cell booster.
