Typical Texas campground. Wide open park with no trees.
All spaces have grass with a nice table. Sites have no fire ring, but a covered picnic area does.
Staff is wonderful. Easy check in. No one at the office when we pulled. Called the number and was told just to pull in to our site and pay later.
The showers are great. Two private rooms that are very clean.
Washers and dryers are new models and are free. They ask for a donation, which we did.
Like this park along. A gem for the small town of Quanah.

I agree with the other two reviews. However, the park is mostly full timers. Some sites are well kept, some are not. The site was overgrown with weeds. The feeling of "camping " just wasn't there. It had a trailer park feel. There was a wasp nest in the pedestal and they were prompt with taking care of the problem. They do not have showers and restrooms.
If your traveling Interstate 25 in Colorado, this would be a decent place to stop for the night.

Level sites on asphalt. Not much room to park your tow vehicle. If your in a back in site and your hookups are mid trailer, you may have a problem with connections. Sewer, water, and electric are in the rear of the site.
If you come here, come on a weekday if you have to register at the visitor center.
Your right next to a park with a great water feature for the kids.
