We would not stay, we called about staying and they do not take credit cards. It was cheap at 20 bucks but there are 4 permanent of the 5 spaces. There was a truck blocking part of the access to #2, our spot. The owners seemed nice on the phone but upon arrival we just did not feed comfortable!

They have two sections, we were in the old one with more mature trees for shade. Was not to crowded and pretty level gravel lot. Only thing I did not like was that each site has access coming in from different directions. In other words, our coach access door opened 15 ft from my neighbors access door. Kinda weird that we shared a picnic table. Good thing we got along well! Will add a picture of the calm layout

Was not all the impressed and confusing 🫤. When you walk in they ask you to pay an entrance fee and want all your personal information . I thought the walking tour was free. Well it can be, just walk by the registration area and enjoy the tour that is not all the great if you paid for it. Really cool for free! Still feel they could do a better job on the tour but what do I know!

Great little boondock site. Would not recommend if heavy rain. There is some washboard but not to bad for my class C and tow. ( see picture). The restaurant is delightful. Added pictures of that too. They close at 4 everyday but Tuesday and Wednesday when they shop for supplies. Bought a bunch of cookies and pies, what a treat! Oh, there are a lot of ants running around. Sprinkled a little ant killer around the jacks to be safe, just don’t want them in the coach! Enjoy 😉

This is actually part 2 of my first review. I did not realize this at time of the first writing 😇. I personally like trains, I find them romantic. BUT when they are traveling 60+ mph and 150 yards away from your campsite it can be a little unnerving. I will still stay there again but if you don’t like 4 trains going thru each night you may want to consider another location. Oh, good luck finding one!

We ended up needing a place for power only and one night. This place did the trick for us. There are about 30 or so campsites with full hookups but looks like a lot of them are monthly rentals. Susan was delightful in helping us get situated. She is not on site all the time but lives close by so best to call first. She showed up within about 5 minutes. If I ever pass thru this way I would stay here again.

Great little campground. Took site 16 along the road to the boat access. Had maybe ten vehicles pass by. It’s mid September 2022 so suspect it would be more busy during the summer months. Host has been hosting for ten years and was very nice and knowledgeable. We had 3 Bar T-Mobile and 4 Bar Verizon. All the sites were nice but 16, 7, 9 actually allow you to see the reservoir. The water is down 30 to 40 feet due to the drought but still nice. I would return if back in the area.

The campground is well maintained but older. The restrooms are clean. I would have given the place a 5 star but sites are semi level and are gravel vs concrete pads. Lots of shaded spots and get this, they offer one day stays on the weekend. This is not in my opinion a vacation getaway spot unless you like fishing in a nice little pond. I don’t know if there any fish in it but saw a fellow fishing. I would come back here if passing thru as the location is quiet and comfortable.

We stayed at site 18. This park is very well maintained. Good solid concrete parking pads and a wonderful location. This is a large park and would be helpful to have alternate transportation like a bike or golf cart. If had not been raining the whole time the visit would have been perfect.
