I have stayed here a couple of times in the past and thought I would write a review since I don't see any yet. Sites are free with a 14 day max stay limit. There is a kiosk at the beginning of the campground (just past the cemetery) to log your stay. Campsites are along a narrow dead end gravel road. Most of the sites are only good for tent camping with no level parking. A couple of sites might handle a truck topper or small van but you may need to level them a little. Can be a little busy on weekends.
For the sites themselves there are no toilets, drinking water, or electric. But if you are okay with "roughing it" these might be appealing. Each site has a level tent pad (10' x 10' I believe). A picnic table, lantern pole, and fire ring with a grate. Most sites are far enough apart that you won't see your neighbors, and they are right on the lake. Some tent pads are within 10 feet of the lake. I don't remember what the cell service was like but probably pretty spotty.

Stayed here for 1 night last March then another night in April. There are 20 sites which are First Come First Serve. Vault toilets, dumpster, and if I remember right there was a place for potable water to resupply. There are no sites with any utilities including electric. There is a host in the summer. Pay by envelope, drop box. Most sites are small and more suitable for tents, vans, or small trailers. In March I had the campground to myself. In April there was one other site occupied. There is a small lake within walking distance and the much larger Cave Run Lake is only a few minutes away. The Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail can be accessed from the campground.

Campground is large and has most of the amenities you need. Bathrooms were clean. Pretty quiet. I was there on weekdays in September so not many kids. As others have said you will probably need to do some leveling in most sites. And some sites can be short. My 16 foot trailer barely fit the site I chose. So check the site length on the website. There are a couple of trails out of the campground. One connects to Old Mans Cave. The other takes you to Rose Lake.

Campground was about a quarter full during the week when I stayed there in early Oct. Electric only hookups. Bathroom with showers were dated but okay. They are at the front of the campground. A couple of vault toilets are farther back into the campground. This is next to the small Pike Lake. There are about half a dozen trails within walking distance of the campground not to mention the Buckeye Trail also passes through here. Good place to camp if you are looking for a quiet stay. Most sites were level and clean. A little close together but not to bad. And probably not too busy at least during the week so room to spread out a little. I actually had probably at least 150 feet between me and the nearest camper when I was there as most people seemed to camp closer to the front of the campground.
