Dump Stations seem to be hard to find around here but this one is very convenient. The card swipe instructions were easy to follow and there was a rinse hose too
Paula was so friendly and we enjoyed our last minute quick stop. We were tired of driving on our way through Texas and this was an oasis

If you are looking for a quick overnight that is clean and quiet with a fully stocked camp store - this is your place. The site was so level that we just pulled right in, did not unhook, did not adjust in any way

There was a line at check in even though we reserved ahead. I was happily surprised when they told us 2 miles down the canyon was our campground Sagebrush. All sites in that campground are equally good. No sewer hookup but electric and water. Trails were closed. Looked like due to washout from recent flash flooding. Nice star gazing.

It’s true. They charge extra for things like extra people and pets. But that’s not wrong. It’s a nice park. Site 31 means you sleep to the water sounds from the creek and each AM we were greeted by elk in the park. VERY close to RMNP. Your phone may say it has bars, but it doesn’t work like it does. So I worked remote from Birds Nest coffee shop. Nice!

It’s an easy 5-miles to bike from the campsite, through the beautiful tree lined blacktop Tammany Trace trail, into town for great restaurants like LaLou and Pat’s. The park itself has a boardwalk into the marsh and other trails. A beach. A long fishing pier. We were in site 69. A little busted on the pad but level enough and away from the crowded section of RVs. We thought we could work remote but the AT&T signal was 2 bars. Not good enough

Sites 4-6 have Great Lake views and you can park your boat right at your campsite. Quiet beautiful setting to camp. A really nice splash pad. Wifi and cell service are ridiculously bad so the kids can put down their damn devices and actual be present. Ahhhh

Sites are spaced apart. Nice camp store. Friendly people. We worked remote for a week with good cell and WiFi signals.

Loved our stay. Dump station is closed which makes things difficult but we are managing with electric and water. If you are a bird watcher this is the place for you. But the wind can be a beast

Sites are small so you are careful to squish your trailer and truck in so others can go by. It’s electric only so you have to be careful to conserve water and tank space. I expected more wildlife as a trade off for the electric only camping but didn’t see anything. I wish they had showers. But they don’t.
