I really enjoyed this museum. Seeing the equipment up close really bringing perspective. Also I didn't take pictures inside but that was very well done lots of amazing history. When we entered we signed the log but there was no fee to visit. There was a attendent who gave us. Great history of the base before we began. Great time.
Great park. Beautiful views from the overlook. Campground was nice. Very shady and quiet even with a lot of visitors. Bathroom was clean and showers were hot. Playground was nice for our toddler. Yellow flys were bad here. They also don't have the state park passports or badges.
Excellent experience at this winnery. The wines were all delicious. The Winery is out in the country very scenic drive. Beautiful location. The owner poured our samples.
28 days till Christmas and they are closed the week after thanksgiving.
My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. It's a quiet campground we had our popup in spot 29 and no one was around us, most of campers were around the pond. It's a good spot for more adult campers, no playground for the kids. That's OK for this trip since we were looking to relax. The bathroom is dated but clean and functional (nice hot water showers). Everyone was friendly. They are right off a busy road and people don't slow down so be careful getting in and out. There is noise from the road but I was able to sleep without any problems. They are ideal for those looking to explore the area. Overall we enjoyed it!.
This was a great hidden spot for a short hike. My husband and I did the high falls and it was a little tougher on me due to being 23 weeks pregnant but we took our time and enjoyed the falls. Lots of benches along the way.
This was a must stop for us, mainly because my dad insisted I stop and get him 10 pounds of stone ground grits. My husband and I enjoyed the mill and fed the fish. Only thing I can think that would make it better, would be a tour on the history.
Great spot to visit, everyone was friendly, the price was great. Beautiful views. We took the bus up and hiked down, it's very steep and I'm glad we did that part going down.
We stayed here one night in our Popup camper. Campground is very nice, paved areas for setting up, each spot has picnic table, fire ring (burn ban so didn't use). Bathrooms are clean, nice showers. We took a few hiking trials while hear. It looks like a great place to be during the summer, they have a lot of water activities. Negative: Heard a nearby train all night. Can't reserve specific spots it's first come first serve.
