Stayed here one night. East access about 3.5 miles from I10, short stretch of dirt road. 2 very level campsites just off the road with fire pits, possibly more but I did not look around. Minimal traffic.

Very grateful when welcome centers or rest areas offer these facilities. As mentioned previously the dump station is located off the approach back onto I10. There is a sign just prior to exiting with a camper symbol. Easy, level access with non potable water for rinsing and a trash receptacle. Since these facilities are few and far between, please leave no mess.

just an FYI.....about 5 miles west right after crossing the Pascagula River is another rest area that has a sign prior to exiting that dump facilities are available these also in case you miss this one. Cant confirm but the sign indicates available.

Stopped here for one night passing through the area.Easy off and on I-8. Appears to be ample spaces to park and remain distanced from others. Parker n about 1/4 mile off highway on an area that has some gravel and was very solid when we arrived. After a pretty steady rain in the night the ground was soft enough I needed 4WD turning around. Would stay here again for one nighter but would find firmer ground if rain was predicted. Some highway noise but no more than many of the overnight locations we frequent.

This is a perfect location very close to White Sands National Park. There are several spots to park almost any size rig. Some overlooking the lake and others further back. If coming in from the east the entrance is obscured by a hill so it comes up quickly. I recommend making a big swing left before making the right turn especially with bigger rigs. If coming in from the west look to the left and you will more than likely see other rigs which makes finding the entrance easier. As others have mentioned there is a left turn lane from the west. Dont let the less than desirable retention pond fool you. There is a pretty lake behind it where the parking is. Defiantly will stay here agin when passing through there area. About the only noise which wasn't bothersome was jets from the AFB.

Stayed here two nights while in the Waco area. New campground that has been very well thought out and still improvements being made. Several pull through sites and all have full hookups. Strong internet available and nice laundry facilities. Nicely graveled roads and sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't be surprised if you hear SpaceX testing.

The area for trucks and RV's is very spacious with a few dedicated parking spots for RV/Buss where there is room to put out slides. We were the only RV the night we stayed. The entire grounds are very well kept and clean. Wifi is available. Obviously there is truck noise but not the constant in and out like many rest areas.

The location was ok for a short stay to visit the area. Not a lot of room for multiple rigs to distance especially to run generators. Several of the people have been there for an extended time. I would recommend going slightly further in where there is another open flat area and at least be out of view of the road. The area is surrounded by large scale farming which creates a lot of traffic with trucks and farm machinery. It can also be very dusty when the wind is blowing.

Easy access off 74 of dirt/rock road but no issues with any vehicle getting in. There are several spots separate from the OHV staging area where day users normally park. Go beyond fit toilets and make a left. During the week it is relatively low key but the weekends get very busy. Had one large group that came in and had little regard for quiet hours with music playing and continued operating OHV's till near midnight. Most of the OHV day users unload, head out riding, return, load and go. Always amazed when various people taking advantage of this free area leave trash when they leave. Fortunatley either BLM staff checking on the place or other users seemed to be packing out the trash. I would stay here again but only for 1 or two nights during the week. Beautiful desert cactus surroundings. Heard buros at night and observed droppings but never saw any.

Good area for several rigs including bigger rigs. Good for single or multiple nights. Some hiway noise but quiets at night. For bigger rigs either go straight up hill or turn left, do not go right. To the right there are a few small sites but no way to turn around anything over 20’.

Beautiful location overlooking the Pecos River. Quiet location with only two other parties. Easy in an out right off 90.
