The restrooms /showers are very private individual rooms with a/c. Concrete leveled pads with fire ring and picnic table. They also have a laundry room. We were there for one night but would definitely stay again when passing through.

Due to limited space at the Visitor Center we were advised to go directly to the campsite first and set up before checking in. This worked at great. While the roads are narrow and campsites small they are manageable. We were able to hike to the trail head from our campsite which was nice since the parking at the trail head was packed. If you are thinking of visiting this park, do it.

Access is easy and the roads are paved. Site 57 in the Buffalo Grove loop was mostly leveled. It was very nice to have a covered picnic area. Restrooms were ok. We were here for a week. Using Speedtest by Ookla app, AT&T coverage was 1.28 down/ 0.24 up. T-Mobile coverage was 8.96 down/ 0.17 up. As for work, I was hotspotting off my phones. I was able to join MS Teams calls. I don’t know why but AT&T coverage was better in the morning and T-Mobile in the afternoon.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. This is a very special place with the attention provided to it’s guest. Friendly all around. When in the area, treat yourself to a stay.

Friendly welcoming staff and well maintained park. Bathrooms were really clean and many trails for running, hiking, biking and a nice lake for paddling. The park is surrounded by many stores and restaurants to meet your needs.

Stayed here for a week and as previous reviews, the views of the mountains and the reservoir were amazing. About 15min drive to Frisco. We were here in mid July and the campground stayed full so take the time to make reservations. Both AT&T and T-Mobile cellular service worked better than expected. No issues with Microsoft Teams calls for remote work and streaming movies and videos.
