To campers: reviews are based on 2 very different pieces. Lots of people said the city was cool to see even though run down, but we didn't even make it in the city. It behind a huge wall. We were so ready to get out of there after staying at the camp 2 nights. The camp ground is a small dirt circle of compact sites 15 ft from the highway. The lady told me the code for the showers but fail to tell me I needed to take $1.75 in quarters to turn the shower on. You have no control over the temperature. Not a great experience at all. I could go on, but you get the idea.
Neat place, but kids have to be 42" to get on most of it.
Nice place, table with covering at each site. Pretty clean bathrooms. Only draw back is, you are sleeping on a bed of huge rocks.
Clean and friendly
Worst Microtel we've ever been too. First my husband was ticked because they don't have an elevator. I didn't know that was a feature I needed to check for. Also we realized we apparently slept with the window open all night. The faucet was falling off the bath tub. Several broken and dirty items. The breakfast room was so gross.
Absolutely beautiful! My husband and kids enjoyed it but it was so cold I couldn't stand to keep my feet. $5 for parking but free to swim.
